  1. Thank you all. Means a lot. I know I don't post much, but I am the biggest fan since 2012. If you Lay Down with Me is lovely.
  2. My father passed away yesterday. To say I'm heartbroken and devastated is an understatement.I cried throughout check-in and luggage check at the airport. Drowning my sorrows in a beer and played the album. I don't even care if it's good. I just want sad Lana songs for the plane ride. The mention of her father on Text Book brought me to tears again. I'm so thankful the album leaked to help me through this awful time, and whether I like it or not later down the line - I'm just grateful she put it out and is as productive and hard-working as she is. We're all blessed.
  3. So glad Dealer wasn't on Chemtrails, it would not fit at all. Also, as chill as the track is, the lyrics are some of her worst.
  4. So weird that she chose this song to open the record. It doesn't have a memorable opening line like all her other openers, it's slow, not especially memorable in her catalogue, and it doesn't follow the 1.2.1.2 chronology of her openers so far. Very weird, random choice that I still hope isn't true. Blue Banisters would be a better opener.
  5. it's lana - nothing makes sense. She might release it next year, or never (like the Blue Banisters video). also, what is this crappy Bleachers song she's singing backups on? Just a favor to Jack i guess. But it's pretty forgettable
  6. i'm with him tho. A third album packed with piano ballads is a bit too much.
  7. Nah. She only has these 4 songs, maybe one more. The album will come out in one year at the earliest. Mind you - when everyone said the album will come out July 4th, I said notta chance in helll, and I was right.
  8. Thank you! God bless Neil Krug. No idea who Drew Erickson is, but I love that she's working with different producers on this one. It's safe to say it'll be an album packed with paino ballads and her slowest one yet - even slower than Chemtrails. Do we know the name of the new single??? Map of La?
  9. The cover is GORGEOUS. Effortlessly beautiful. Her best since Ultraviolence. Do we know who shot it? And the upcoming single sounds GORGEOUS as well. I kinda wish she started with that and didn't realise the past 3 singles so we have more tracks to look forward to. I also think this new track sounds like the best song out of the 4. Do we know who produced it? She better fucking release it soon! I'll give her one month.
  10. I'll bump this post when she completely ignores her faux 4th July release date. See ya in July, and let's see how perky you are then lol
  11. Of course they are ! I keep saying - she just started making the record, and only has 3 or 4 songs. See you all when the album comes out October 2022!
  12. I don't care about the album cover. I just want ONE upbeat song (Doin' Time, High By The Beach, Summer Bummer). It's been too long !!!! (Don't call me angel) and I'm sick of the ballads!
  13. 100 agreed. But Lana is not that famous, not like Adele or Taylor, and if she continues going down this route of not caring for commercial success, the interest will vane. They're already ignoring her ballads in playlists on itunes whereas billie eilish occupies the first spot with a ballad. Whereas BTD videos accumulated hundreds of millions of views, Chemtrails barely got 20. Add to that her ageing and getting full-figured, which america hates more than anything, her career is pretty much fading.
  14. i'm just fed up with the ballads. her faster-paced tracks (don't call me angel, doin' time, summertime sadness, high by the beach, blue jeans, summer bummer, national anthem) have always been her rarest. And it seems like BB will be her second album with a single one. Which, as a fan, is super annoying to me (regardless of how great these 1,000 ballads are).
  15. the songs will never do well streaming wise. look at chemtrails - super smalll numbers. the slower her music is, the less interested people are. with the exception of NFR which was just-blowing even at nearly glacial pace. she's gonna fade into obscurity if she doesn't start working on more singles that are not, well, miserable.
  16. the best of the three for sure! Instantly added to my lana favs list - ballad section.
  17. The songs are a snoozefest. I guess she neither one would do much individually so she released all three. I think it's fair to say Lana is sounding bored and formulaic, like she's just banging it out at this point. Either that, or these are some old unreleased tracks she quickly touched up
  18. don't buy it. She has one or two songs with dean and she announced the album to fuck with us
  19. i think that's why she chose a hiphop producer. She realised the slow ballads aren't charting or making a lot of money, so she's gunning for a hit. She does this after every two records. Think about it - born to die was hip hop, then uv and hm. Then came lust for life, followed by nfr and chemtrails. Now is the time for hip-hop infused sound again. just one upbeat track i can listen to at the gym lana, come on girl!!
  20. i hope for a collab with madonna but with beats had enough of piano ballads (as much as i adore them)
  21. BB was teased over a month ago. She just doesn't care. I've decided not to watch out for anything from her anymore. When it's out it's out (i'll add an alert to youtube and that's all)
