  1. oh fuck i started another eras debate on a pre-pre release thread...
  2. I believe in the same thing as well. Although, i always recall when she was teasing ocean blvd with the hashtag #ldrx and everyone corrected her (even her managers and neil krug that made another hashtag with #ldr9). What if the production and the intention of ocean blvd was supposed to be the ''special one'' because she thought that it was her tenth record? (its kind reasonable because there are a lot of ways of interpreting that if you consider, paradise, aka, violets, etc) Either way, i think she messed up and i don't know if she will make an effort to do it correctly. If it happens to be special it feels that it will much more expontaneous than planned and im putting all my hopes on that.
  3. i think it was all a lie... i just wanted a for k pt 2 live
  4. pov: ''oceanblvd posted just now" and its a trailer announcing a ocean blvd doc/live show on hbo
  5. i was thinking a lot lately what could possibly be the surprise and i finally got an idea of something that: 1- fans would be really excited 2- its no new music A RECORDED SHOW. But not like a jimmy fallon show , more like live at the hollywood forever show that was meant to be released as a DVD but it never happened. The last recorded show that she has in the format was like in 2012 ON ITUNES FESTIVAL. I think its time and i think its totally possible, it would be amazing like, live at the hollywood bowl idk, bring some friends (since she loves doing that). I would be completely thrilled by that, maybe she could even sing some unreleaseds and release the audio version on spotify who knows
  6. And one thing that i think we're all missing of in this puzzle is: The last time that we've got an album with multiple hip-hop influenced tracks was lust for life, because norman just have doin time. The reputation that she had back there was NOTHING compared to nowadays. So we don't know actually how the critics can react to these tracks
  7. i think thats what critics LOVED about A&W the first part really looks like an 80's grunge rock sound but reworked in a way the only lana could bring up to the table
  8. Idk, like if you think about it maybe the album could be like a gradient change of the sound, you mentioned fingertips and peppers in the same album , but there are like 5 track between each other that has different vibes as well that could bridge a transition of these different worlds that makes sense to the record. Imo, putting all the bops at the end could exactly be the perfect choice to organize where shes landing after all thoses reflections that she brings in the side a of the record. Also ,the pianos ballads comming back and forth on the tracklist can be the element that really ties everything up together(just like norman) , i think theres potential, but yeah its pretty hard.
  9. i think most part of it is very cohesive, but she has some experimental approaches. In my opinion, its not that delusional. Venice bitch was very experimental to lana's discography and the critiques received well, just like A&W, and i think shes very reminiscent of NFR with the soundscape of the record, like, its mostly produced by Jack again, the lyrics are very interesting just like her less commercial past records that she had a very stable acclaim. The only thing that itches me is: the featurings and how other experimental tracks will be received since its a risky choice, it can be a 8 or 80 u know?
  10. i think we don't need to focus exactly on the release rn, but we're getting fed march 1st because of billboard c'mon!
  11. I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT BUTTERFLY NET, THE AUDACITY TO MAKE THIS: "THERE I WAS, WITH MY BUTTERFLY NET TRYING TO CATCH YOUR LIGHT"
  12. let's talk about tour setup, since ocean blvd is all about ORCHESTRA i really wish she'd go back to the time that she brought violins to the stages.
  13. HELLO RIO, its been a while hun? ~byron starts to play the piano with the chords of living legend~ the chorus starts screaming WHYHWYHWYHWYHWYHWYWYHWHYYYYYYYYY
  14. I think the issue is lana not chuck honestly, when lana is inspired her shoots shows that
  15. im already brainstorming. The vinyl could be a broken heart design but with some golden stripes to feel like it was glued together with gold and then the single is KINTSUGI
