  7. First of all, don't speak for all of us. None of the songs listed are what even got me into lana, it was actually her very early unreleased music and some of her Lizzy Grant work. The music on Blue Banisters is what makes us her fans, because it's her music. You're allowed to have your opinion, but don't project that onto us and group us together. A lot of us really fucking love the album. Sonically, vocally, lyrically it is some of her best work ever. What you're saying about her earlier music, i.e. Born To die or UV or HM and how it's "cohesive" or "not a collection of songs" is absolutely incorrect. There are songs on Born To Die and all of those albums that were never made for those albums, therefor making them a collection of songs. So whatever point you're trying to get at is inconsistent and contradictive. Leave us alone, let us enjoy the music. And if you don't like it, say so but don't put words in our mouths.
  8. i think the truth is that lana doesn't need to make every single song on an album a bop. when we think about a lot of the things she's said about herself being vulnerable and being soft, i think we should remember that these things will also reflect sonically. it will always be a mix of experimental, intriguing compositions along with her classic soft ballads. This combination of sounds is the formula for Lana Del Rey, it's a part of her. we can go on and on about how a piano ballad could be more and how it could sound better but that isn't the point of those songs. I think artistically there should be a balance, sort of like a cold beverage with your meal or a smoke break during a long shift, a palate cleanser if you will.

  12. possibly, but no one could ever touch lana's cadence. she has the most unique, and magical way of delivering her lyrics vocally.
  13. i wish blue banisters was a person so i could keep them safe and hold them and love them and nourish them hazily
  14. I want her to explore more of what she did in black bathing suit tbh I really like her use of different tempo changes and experimental vocals more of that on her next album pls. Would die to hear a full fledged psychedelic rock album with folk influenced lyrics and undertones.
