I always get annoyed when someone complains about rock being dead and some smart ass telling that are still good underground bands/artists. Yeah we know, that goes for every genre, people are complaining about rock not having cultural significance anymore, not being anywhere in top 40, and frontliners on festivals being usually 20+ year old bands.

I can't belive the video popped while I was chilling in a Café and thinking "Ohh she is probably rambling who gives a fuck" not even playing it, then I visit LB the next day and see that Instagram Updates has +200 replies. My face was like thinking it was something positive but instead I witnessed meltdowns. What a ride.
Someone on instagram just commented that she was allegedly in a mental institution earlier this year. What the fuck? You guys are probably familiar with that. Was her poor mental health maybe the reason she will leave social media.
Also that leaves to her promoting music in an old fashion way which I look forward to. She will need to give interviews instead of basic ass instagram posts. Always be optimistic.

I feel like they don't take themselves seriously and that's okay. Everyone expects rock music to have some clever lyrics but it's okay for lyrics to be brainless as long as the music is catchy. That is allowed in pop and hip hop so why do we have so much higher expectations for rock? I feel like they gained a lot of attention because they have no competition, not because their music is that good. I personally like their music.

I had a 4 gen family in The Sims 3 from 2016 to 2020. I know it's extremely long but I wasn't playing the Sims all the time. The legacy was heavily focused on storytelling. I lost the save after my laptop needed to be backed up for cleansing and the PC I backed up saves has died. My saves, custom content and photos were lost, or at least I thought they were. I found my old flash drive I needed for PowerPoint presentations for college and found my old saves and ALL of the screenshots. I was so happy. I wasn't planning on play that laggy mess of a game but at least I found my heavily staged storytelling pics. It made my night since it was almost 3am.

I find it absolutely insane how Sims 4 is NINE YEARS OLD and younger Gen Z literally grew up playing it. Meanwhile the older Gen Z most likely got to experience all or almost all the Sims games.

Omg I feel guilty for sharing a meme of her and Diana fighting in the afterlife. I didn't expect her dying the same day.

Why are people so concerned about attacking a small artist rather than the actual rapist? What if she didn't have a better option? I bet you would take a job if you had an amazing opportunity but a horrible boss.
Btw, Slut Pop is weird in a good way. It feels like a house mix rather than an EP. The songs are very short and the tempo never stops, it just changes. Also, the chunky highlights and "bimbo" makeup look so good on her. I was terrified about the 2000s comeback because the makeup and hair was terrifying.

I wish the show was a Britney Spears kind of show, the cult part is pretty excessive considering it's supposed to have less than 10 episodes. Just like in Euphoria, Sam Levinson has way too many ideas and characters.

the fact that he said "tiny" was so weird like... ugh. so porn sick.

I watched the second episode today. Still better but the dirty talk by the Weeknd's character is gross. Yes, I understand the purpose of his character is to be rapey, but he needs to be at least charismatic and alluring to the viewer, but all I see is Joselyn finding him attractive.

I skipped most of the sex scenes on the last part. The Weeknd's dialogue really made me cringe kjfsdhsdn. The whole "I want you to s*** my ****", "stretch your tiny pushita" was so weird. It's not me trying to be a prude or anything but the scenes were not working for me.
I enjoyed this episode more than the last one because it feels like finally something else is happening. Can't wait for Dyanne's single.

I liked Episode 2 more than the first, and I felt sympathy for Jocelyn when she had to perform with bleeding feet and was clearly having an anxiety attack or worse.
It's hard to buy the Weeknd in that specific role due to his height---especially when Jocelyn is taller than him in almost every scene, as she's wearing platform shoes. His height sort of undercuts his credibility as a suave, dangerous, Svengali figure.

The music video section of episode 2 was actually quite good but the last section was genuinely atrocious. The Weeknd is really ruining the show yikes lol

And in this era when porn and erotica are ubiquitous, the graphic sex being touted isn't going to make much of a wave.

Her team has sent a poll to Lana Discord, where fans can vote for which unreleased songs they prefer, paired in groups of four (you vote for your favourite two in each group). The link is probably 50 pages before this one. It’s not a guarantee an unreleased collection will be out, but her team is sorta testing the waters on interest for some songs. All of the songs are pretty much pre-UV.

Once Upon a Dream is pretty haunting. Sounds like she's singing over a grave of her loved one. I can also imagine a lonely ghost in a haunted house singing about her dead husband/lover she never got to see in the afterlife.

i don't think she hates AKA, she's mentioned it a few times here and there throughout her mainstream career, as recent as the billboard awards event she attended, i can't think of any instances where she specifically said it was produced by steven mertens, but she's also mentioned david kahne throughout the years as well, she actually spoke to him again while recording her cover of "doin' time" since he produced the original song, we know she likes kill kill, and she referenced "jump" on "fishtail" so i wouldn't say she hates the album, but i'm sure she has complicated feelings about it since it didn't really take off and she was kinda pushed to leave it behind when she became "lana del rey"

Agree too.
IICHLIWP is her best work and her most alternative. This is the sound I always thought Sky would do after NTMT.

i agree!! iichliwp is halsey's best work, it's a shame that judging from her latest single she's going pop again for her new album
