I've only ever seen one vinyl player and it looked PRICEY .. can't imagine how a Lana record sounds on it

Genuinely curious about this, how many of you actually have vinyl players? They're super expensive where I live and the actual vinyls cost a bomb too. Would you buy a DYKTATUOBLEPFKOJF vinyl even if you wouldn't be able to play it?

Just going off of what Dragon Whore said about the album having a northern country pastoral cult-esque vibe. I want the visuals to be weird and glamorous but the way Lana does it now, where some of it is fake jewellery, the charm of the items has somewhat faded, there's maybe poisoned peonies in all her vases and she may still be singing from her back porch but it's dramatic it's fuller it's something more than what we may have heard before. Be kind, this is my first attempt at a moodboard here.

This may have been discussed before but could anyone figure out what song she added into the Q Magazine bts video from etienne? This was back in June before the Italy trip .. I think I haven't been able to stop thinking about the snippet and even if it isn't her song I'm dying to know the title.

Anyone else think that she agreed to collab w Taylor in exchange for help with the supposed surprise release Lana mentioned in her BB live? Say what you will the folklore and evermore release was a whole mood and if she really wants to go that route, Lana would've agreed to work on something for Midnights.

Wasn't there a hint back in the early days of DNC that it was more than three words? With the Neil Krug tease - he's her oldest collaborator and they've worked together for YEARS I mean it has to be her album - what if the title's something like Drowning In The Northern Currents? Something angry yet fatalistic...

If she's ready to return to glamour and fun and some surrealism I'd love for the music videos to have this energy.

I've been lurkin' in silence There are aspects to the insta-captions that feel like she's changing direction sonically. Also a lot of those bare-walled posts have a navel gazing vibe. Curious to see how it all plays out.

Was the Kali Uchis collab ever confirmed? IF it happened and IF it's on LDR9 It might be where 'Lanita' comes from ...?

Okay okay okay I've reached that point where I think I'll be okay if she takes longer to perfect the album rather than try and stick to her vague deadlines. What might be more interesting is to have more poetry more audiobooks hell maybe even a whole novel - just imagine LDR presents The Great American Novel out Spring 2023 -- because once she's had all the poetry and the deep meaningfulness poured out she can make music in a way that isn't piano ballads where the focus is intentionally zeroed in on the lyrics. Great lyrics on WW but I would like bigger build-ups and soundscapes on the new album. Otherwise, just separate the poems and the songs. (no hate, food for thought)

Same here, I've been back to Violet and it's beautiful - also all her captions lately make sense they're just lines from her poems.
