    I think I might drive around and listen to it. There is a nice river in the next town that I sometimes drive next to and listen to music and it’s so peaceful. It will be perfect. I’ve already requested a day off from work for it, my album release day tradition now. 

    i’ve said it like 5 times already, but genuinely the catharsis i felt when listening to the title track while walking through the snow and just screaming the lyrics.. honestly ugh. 

    being next to the river in late winter / early spring will be beautiful especially for this album from what i envision it to sound like based on Ocean Blvd..

    does anyone have a newborn i can lick like a frog?

    anyway.. why does lana hibernate after announcing something? like i’ll even take birthday posts at this point.. i think artists staying active with their fans is crucial imo like imagine this era if lana was properly active on honeymoon, a small collection of us on her account compared to the absolute millions on her main insta.. like there’s what 2mil on honeymoon? imagine the intimacy if she only unlocked it a few times (i like to gatekeep) and communicated with us in comments and lives like she did before, i just feel a little disconnected from her that’s all.. maybe it’s just me but i do miss her random ass posts and actual communicating with fans, now we’re lucky to get the occasional post.. and i doubt she’ll even do much for the album just a quick post that she’ll end up deleting like a day later 

    don’t want to sound like i’m complaining, but this is a discussion forum and just imagine how personal and intimate this pre-release could’ve been :brows3:

    maybe it’s because of the laptop theft, and it’s really really impacted her

    it honestly just seems like this is the happiest with and proudest of a record she’s been since 2019, i just wish she’d share that.. like she KNOWS she’s made a magnum opus

    WHICH I CANT WAIT TO HEAR 

    ot: i have no idea what to do when i hear the album for the first time, i like to just put my headphones on and close my eyes but you all have such great ideas that i feel so inferior in regards to listening rituals :smile2:

    i haven’t listened to fingertips snippets nor the samples from the featured artists, i do kind of want to keep it as a surprise until i can hear the actual finished product. 

    all i’ve heard is candy necklace snippet and title track..

    i literally have no idea how the rest is going to sound

    i don’t know how those of you that restrain yourselves from listening to the singles do it though, i could never. especially after seeing the hype in here, i’d give in to my fomo

    that is true. i am so curious about it, what she’s going to reveal etc. i did lowkey forget about how personal other single releases were, it is 6:40am where i am and i’m still awake :facepalm:

    • there’s usually a song that has very early lore that everyone assumes is going to be a single but is kept for album release day; ex Cherry, Dealer, Tulsa Jesus Freak, Cinnamon Girl

    • tracks 1 and 2 are almost always singles

     

    My prediction is that A&W is the song with the lore that we’ll have to wait for, I honestly think The Grants is gonna be the second and last single pre-release

     

    I actually think Candy Necklace is going to be more of a Love Song/White Mustang situation, where yes we have the snippet and she teased it ahead of time, but it’s just gonna up being just a pretty standard album song as in it won’t be a single or anything, at least not until later

    really? that’s interesting. i get the vibe that she won’t release the grants before the album, purely because of what i’d read from i think it was just BOZ about how it’s very personal and all that, plus kintsagi spilling too.. i see it as maybe too personal to release as a single? 

    obviously all these songs are more personal and intimate but i just can’t imagine her releasing the grants yet. obviously i could be wrong but i feel like TG & TT X VB are complete no’s to me, oh and i don’t think the interludes either lol

    i come off lanaboards for literally like 6 hours to write an assignment and i see all hell has broke loose.. we have our own QFTC, phishing links… something about boobs again

    why is everyone unhinged!!! 

    guys, i know everyone’s probably a little antsy but this should be our safe space, where we all go to have a little geek about to get excited for lana’s 9th (or 10th) album. and on other threads a safe space with likeminded people who are just as interested in ms del rey. 

    not all this toxicity and unhinged behavior. i’ve had my fair share of trolling but i do not know what got in the air today..

    let’s all just collectively agree about how excited we are for lana’s new project, and how it will bring us all together when it gets released. 

    i love the pre-release it’s my favorite time but not when the vibes are like this:noparty:

    so. what does everyone think the next single will be? i would love a&w but i would like to be scalped in album context with it. i’m thinking realistically it’s gonna be candy necklace maybe? purely because she teased it. 

    i really really am looking forward to hearing my namesake, i do love VB.. i’m excited to hear lana’s magnum opus:party:

    i just wish i had something to look forward to, to make the march 24th date a little easier.. like a second single being released next friday or something. just anything to kind of break up the long wait between early december and end of march..

    if there isn’t another snippet or single i will be a little disappointed 

    but i don’t really want another NFR tease where we kinda knew the full album sound before it got released 

    the way no insiders know anything about a second single is also not a good sign :/ :eartha2:
