And that’s ok. We can’t all appreciate everything at the same time or with the same dedication. Let’s just stop shading people for no reason because it’s making us sound bitter and like the people from previous generations that we (still?) resent.

    i know this wasn’t aimed at me, but i’m 20 and a singer myself and i HATE tiktok and i have not met a single person it has not RUINED. attention span wise, physically with their intellect, just so many things. i am watching people around me just turn braindead and they are all avidly obsessed with tiktok, it is insane.. i used it for a couple of weeks and i will not touch it at all because you literally spend so so long on there. 

     

    not only just that but it completely destroys the music industry, everyone’s trying to make songs that ‘trend’ and are like 2:45-3:20 min songs that generally have no substance but sound cool in an edit etc.. my friends only like the songs because it’s the ‘tiktok version’.. it is literally killing my people :/

     

    and i’ll be real, the people who are very into tiktok do not have the attention span to listen to a&w without getting bored (first hand experience of people i have spoken to) and something like fingertips, people WILL NOT get it because they will clock out and they just don’t appreciate proper music anymore unless it’s short and ‘boppy’ - i love a song with a pulse but dear lord even if i don’t ‘love’ fingertips i can still appreciate it as a singer-songwriter myself, and from what i’ve read from the spoilers it is very very confessional and personal and even if it doesn’t have that much of a melody it still has a storytelling aspect i suppose. 

     

    more on topic: i had a breakdown like an hour ago and i was very tempted to listen to the leak to cheer myself up, but i don’t want to taint my first listen with tagged shit and it also not being all leaked all together

    honestly, i am just thinking of the reddit and twitter and maybe tiktok stans who are begging for the l*aks link, after hours of searching find it, only to hear the deranged AI bots and obviously they have a lot less context than us:omfg2:

    at least we know who rosemead is (even if it wasn’t them who leaked it) like imagine the people of reddit finally come across THAT site and listen to what they think is peppers and like 10 seconds in are genuinely listening to someone’s unhinged episode

    but unless the whole thing leaked at once untagged, i wouldn’t be interested in listening tbh. i don’t want to ruin my listening experience when everything has heavily been emphasised that it sounds better within album context. 

    plus… are y’all forgetting a&w came out literally 2 weeks ago it’s ntd for me to not listen yet.. i would rather not wait until the 24th, and if another version leaks i’ll consider it but you’re all tainting your experience by listening to tagged songs, and it’s not even like we’re STARVING

    i’m like 300 pages behind (up to the point where a&w gets released) but i stay dedicated to read EVERY post - for the lore. but i had a dream lana dropped another single?? i thought it was real and i was confused as to why nobody was talking about it.. this is the second time it’s happened to me :icant:
