  1. American Whore is "unlike anything lana and jack have made before", jack himself said that. so the possibility of a piano-only album is already ruled out by that statement only. on top of that, the track with the "longest title" is in the vein of MAC and it's an angsty song, so again, that's not gonna be a piano-only song. i know y'all hated Blue Banisters and are afraid that we're getting another one of those, but BB was made in FIVE MONTHS if not less, and was full of scraps. this new album was in the making for MORE THAN A YEAR, has NO SCRAPS and insiders have already said it's an album full of variety. if you still think this is going to be a record full of "piano ballads" you should start trusting lana a little bit more. and btw, y'all are basing your thought on WRITING CREDITS. mind you, West Coast and Change have THE SAME WRITING CREDITS. are they similar? writing credits DO NOT define the sound of songs
  2. idk if this is a real song or if you're just playing cause after HIADTFAWLMTHBIHI nothing surprises me
  3. well, there was the venice bitch jacket and venice bitch was the SECOND single for NFR! after MAC was released, so maybe DNC is the second single for DYKTTATUOAB y'all i cracked the code DNC IS COMING
  4. OK BACK TO SPECULATION how do u imagine the closing track to sound ?? at first i thought it was going to be a dramatic song but looking back at the past albums, it must be a ver mellow and slow song, very reflective and nostalgic but in a calm and way. i think the right word would be "acceptance". accepting where she's at right now maybe. BB was about her past, her present and her future. this single is about her current present emotions, maybe that'll be the theme of the album. anyway what are ur expectations for the closing track
  5. it does scare me a bit how the syml sample will sound, cause she just used one of his songs and sang over it...
  6. could you please define "LANA ESSENCE" for me real quick? cause her four first albums are extremely different from each other so i dont know what her essence would be... enlighten that point for me please
  7. people saying this song sounds like IYLDWM and complaining, while IYLDWM is an UV song. the album yall have been asking her to imitate for years now.
  8. jack only contributed the guitars at the end, the whole orchestral arrangement was made by Drew
  9. 1. it's called a comfort zone for a reason 2. just because you don't love it doesn't mean the rest of the world should be critical of it. i personally love it, specially how she mixed all the elements that were scattered across the whole BB album in a single song to create a solid and structured record that builds up beautifully. you can state your opinions but don't complain about people "not being critical of the new single" just cause u believed the same things insiders say everytime someone is about to release an album. if you took SUBJECTIVE OPINIONS from insiders as facts then that's on you
  10. I'm expecting an early february release to hype people up for the album. the gap between this single and the album release date is BIG, so it's very likely another song will be released
  11. now that my anxiety is not over the roof and i'm much calmer it's starting to hit me that we'll have to wait another 3 months to have the album unless something happens which i hope it won't
  12. when we get another cherry and the world collapses and implodes and the planets stop spinning and the sun destroys itself and all the galaxies turn into a single galaxy and existence is completely erased because it just couldnt handle another solo lana trap song
  13. this being her strongest and most solid lead single since MAC makes me really excited for the album. a big record is coming and think we all know it
