  1. not really. i had no enthusiasm for cocc and bb cause i knew she wasnt content with either of them, and that was pretty noticeable given how she talked about COCC in interviews and how little effort she put into BB. what i meant with "she has a plan" is that the album rollout is pretty solid because she's very confident in what she's doing. she took her time, she did a photoshoot, she had MULTIPLE producers on an album that has 0/16 reused tracks (first time this happens since Honeymoon, 7 years ago). i know we had a bad time these past 2 eras but this new one looks very promising (music wise, it's obvious there arent going to be any interviews)
  2. anyway i made this too long, what i'm trying to say is that she's as excited for this era almost as much as she was for NFR but her excitement has morphed into another shape, a more intimate but equally profound excitement and love for the record
  3. i personally dont find performances really exciting, what i do crave are interviews and lives and a little more public excitement from her for the records. when cocc came out not only was she obviously not excited but she also wasnt very happy with how the album turned out. though this era doesn't have that kind of "public excitement" that she lacked during COCC (and BB too, kinda?) i feel like she's actually happy with this record and is excited in a different way. the album rollout makes me think she actually has a plan this time because it's something that she truly cares about, meanwhile during BB she was releasing shit out of the blue to get it done with
  4. she posted a "thank you" letter like the kind of letters that artists post once a full record is out and they dont have anything else to say, except we only got a single but as u said i dont think she has anything else to say lmao we wont hear a lot from her this era either
  5. when track 16 starts and we hear love me or hate me I'm going to leave 'cause you told me my dark city hold me by demand..
  6. i personally prefer A&W but American Whore would attract people's attention. and that's the exact reason why i think Lana decided to name it A&W, so it doesnt blow up lmao we know she likes to stay low profile
  7. i usually dont take these kind of things seriously when it comes to lana cause they always end up being strange coincidences but this is too specific to be a coincidence like?? in the only two pics we have from chuck SOMEHOW her hair is IN THE PERFECT POSITION to ONLY SHOW TWO LETTERS that are AW A&W IS COMING
  8. the streets got their info from a fake snippet on dbree so no it doesnt sample Flipside
  9. the week prior to the release will be absolutely insane.. i dont think ppl have been this excited here on LB (and the lana community) for an album since COCC. like, BB had its moment i guess but the release date kept getting delayed? COCC was really exciting but again, it getting delayed over and over again kinda ruined it... NFR was kind of uncertain too.. what I mean by this is that this is the first era in a while when we got ONE SOLID release date and she's sticking to it so there's no uncertainty and fear about the album getting delayed we're just excited and happy and we know it's coming the wait is gonna be long af tho
  10. which songs are trip hop on COCC
  11. the Barrie part is true but labels are extremely harsh on artists when it comes to tracklisting lol. specially on lana after how COCC went down sales-wise. ofc other artists like Taylor dont have to push for songs to be on tracklists cause she gets almost full control over what goes into an album and what doesn't (now after the success of her previous records) but even Taylor back in the Red era had to fight for songs to get released. some songs on Red TV From The Vault were songs she intended to release while making the album but had to scrap ultimately due to her label not considering said songs good enough to give the album high number sales (Babe if im not wrong)
  12. also, remember that Lana said that she was recording voice notes (Fingertips) and Drew would create orchestral instrumentals for them, meaning the literal demos. the snippet we got of Fingertips is very misleading i think, the final version must be amazing
  13. ruining her music is a little too much lmao i'd say his music tends to sound pretty much the same. while for some that might be a good thing, i personally believe Jack and Rick's versatility suit Lana's music better, allowing her to experiment both sonically and lyrically
  14. do we think the "Think She Black Sheep But She Whitey" title is real or not? iconic if u ask me (think she black sheep but she whitey are lyrics from a TGenesis song, someone said that the feature was a sample of that song lol)
  15. as boz said, the grandfather title is a variation of the real title so we must have used a synonym or synonyms of words that are on the actual title (like "while" instead of "when" etc)
  16. it's fucking beyond me how out of ALL THE POSSIBLE TRACK NAMES that we could have made up out of such a long acronym we got it right with such a random one
  17. i think only fishtips and grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep sea fishing were confirmed
