Apparently, he said Dr. Luke is gatekeeping the album. Kim made some attempts to work with Max Martin, which was also blocked by Luke. Aaron then said Luke only listens and signs her songs, not even really producing them. [idk if that's true but that's what i've seen]

Fun fact: Tim Nelson (the guy Tove is working with on DF who also prod. How Long, NODFL and True Romance) is actually BetaTraxx, the same producer who allowed Marina to record over an instrumental he once did... and that's how Electra Heart, the last chapter from the era, was born.

I silently hope for One Little Independent to make some sort of expanded, anniversary or even remastered editions for every album one day...

I did a list of some covers she has recorded. Even the EDM ones (for as bad as they seem) didn't felt like some leftover track that could be used for anything except the first taste of a highly anticipated comeback.

https://www.whosampled.com/Robin-S./Show-Me-Love-(Stonebridge-Mix)/sampled/?ob=1, what i'm trying to say is that a lot of producers nowadays rely on the same house songs, same melodies and stuff to just to create a "hit". They could sample a lot of other bangers from Ace of Base, Corona, C+C Music Factory, Black Box, that would still hit too.

@Mer, I love your signature quote.

The fact that producers always choose Show Me Love to be sampled on every song when it comes to house-influenced tracks it's getting boring.

October seems so far away...

I still don't understand why moderators can't ban or mute specific members when their only contribution here is always to degrade someone.

See what happened not only with her, but also Tinashe (RCA), Brooke Candy (RCA), SZA (RCA), Ryn Weaver (Interscope), RAYE (Polydor) and so many others.

Of course. The amount of bullshit and harassment is so astonishing to the point where serious accusations constantly being made up by grown ass men had to be debunked by herself.

I deleted my original post, but it's also like "Billy meets The Radio Dept." kind of vibe.

We need someone to record the performance with those professional microphones, since it's gonna take so long for us to hear the studio version.
