We need an album with 15 tracks, music videos, interviews, a tour, something LFL/norman had I think we would be satisfied that way, the last two eras were uninteresting, the best one was the LFL one in my opinion, her insta feed was gorgeous and I loved how she took videos of herself to give us info on merch/tour/etc. She’s so distant right now, good for her if she’s better off that way though!

Strangely enough I’m ok with not having anything this year bc I feel like it’s too soon to have another album but at the same time I’m dying to listen to fresh new polished stuff from her. I loved BB but sometimes I think to myself that it would have been better if she had scrapped it. At the very least I don’t want her to neglect this era... I joined during the LFL era and the promotion was fire, everything seemed so exciting back then. She was pushed to act that way I’m sure.

just had a dream an hour ago, or more like a vision right before waking up, lana released 5 tracks out of the album and 3 of them were called "ZigZag" "French Restaurant" and "Abercrombie"…. can’t recall the names of the other two but the cover for them was an outtake of the W mag photoshoot that resembled the one in which she turns her back on the camera with the bow hat. all im gonna say is I hope im not psychic

the thing is, I love the leaked tracks that made it to BB, but it did feel underwhelming cause we’ve had them for a while, so the whole experience was less exciting, plus almost half the album were tracks we already heard except iyldwm a serve then ✅

Can someone give me an example of a raw song lana did by the past? I struggle to get the meaning of the word, I feel like it can mean one thing or another depending on who we’re talking about.

I re-read the W Mag issue cause thank God I finally managed to get it physically, and I stumbled upon this: "My dad is a deep-sea shark fisherman—he has been for 15 years—and he lived on a boat in Providence, Rhode Island, from the age of 15 to 18". I don’t know if anyone noticed that before but we know they’re messing around in Rhode Island at the moment. I could definitely see a norman type of cover, black and white because there’s no place for colors on that album, on a boat with her dad, or on the beach. Anyway, what I’m almost sure of is her dad being one of the main themes of LDR9.

Maybe Rob's involvment in this next project is because LDR9 is mostly going to be about Lana's relationship with her dad, when she was younger. And so... "When I look back, tracing fingertips over plastic bags, I think I wish I could extrapolate some small intention or maybe get your attention for a minute or two" would be about Lana detailing how she felt abandonned by her dad in the past. And maybe that's why she wanted him to be more involved in that project. I don't think this is true but I'd like it to be. At least we can say that over the past recent years, her dad has grown to be one of her main inspirations, she literally started BB with "I was looking for the father I wanted back" and paradoxically they look like they've been pretty close since 2019.
