Jack Donoghue is that underground artist who’s got this band that has been apparently quite influential for more than a decade, along with Bladee and all, he comes from the south of the US and his music is electronic? alt? experimental? I know ethel cain has been following him for a while and he’s a friend of Julia Fox. Idk I’ve yet to dive into his work but I’m hoping lana experimented on this one too.

I thought watercolor eyes was reminiscent of ultraviolence in some way, that’s what I liked about the song, but it still sounds like something she would record today (actually it sounds like a mix between uv and cocc), unlike the 2013 bb songs I don’t think the next songs are going to be similar although I’m hoping for the same kind of production here and there on the album

I won’t listen to it, it really ruins the hype but I did it for bb one week prior cause there were only 5 songs I didn’t know on it and I wasn’t that hyped. also I don’t want to waste my streams cause I know I would listen to the leaks on repeat. plus we didn’t hear anything from the album except rockefeller (if the track is ever featured on the album) so that’s even more exciting. and usually leaks drop a week before the release (it was the case for cocc and bb) so it’s not worth it. what bothers me are stans who listen to leaks and spoil everyone with their tweets, same goes with leakers honestly, tweeting upcoming lyrics and describing the sound with precision is annoying even though we sometimes ask for it out of desperation

all this teasing is just so painful now that we’ve thought let’s get back to reality

I’m hopeful too, ben has been teasing this project for a while now and he seems very excited about it, lana said to a fan in december that this one would be better than BB, the one insider who seemingly has listened to it is excited as well, the W Mag issue was stunning and glamorous which imo means lana takes it seriously, I feel like it’s gonna be a big deal just like norman but with the artistic direction of an album like honeymoon I’m not against a couple releases by the end of the year btw, just to have a glimpse of what the whole record could be like
