Nice interview, but I've just completely checked out of this girl's career tbh. She had so much hype when she posted the first DF teaser and it's all just fizzled out completely. Also, it's so funny to me that these magazines keep giving her interviews and keep saying that Masochism is coming this year. DF came out over 3 months ago, there's no video and no follow-up single. I don't expect any more music until February or March and then maybe another single next fall and then the album in 2024. That's the most realistic outcome tbh. (Sky looks as stunning as ever in these photos tho - she really is one of the most beautiful women on the planet)

Not people thinking Kim’s cover of Running Up That Hill is good dddd. It’s one of the worst covers of the song I’ve heard so far. Placebo are the only ones who did the song justice tbh.

The way this whole era has just died on arrival. Had she dropped the song in early April things would be looking very different right now, but instead this was the most underwhelming release ever.

Not me thinking the “June 9th” in her Insta story is the release date of the video ddd. It’s just the first festival lmao. At this rate I’m expecting the video to come in the fall. Editing it by herself is a choice. I work with a lot of video editing and it’s a process let’s just say that. She’s being a bit naive tbh.

Fair enough. I just don’t want to hype myself up too much so I’m expecting the bare minimum if not less haha.

1. Sky needs to give her Social Media to someone else. The constant posting and deleting is a mess. If her label handled it for her, we could be getting concrete updates and solid release schedules. 2. I'm laughing at people thinking an album pre-order is even a possibility. There is no album and we'll be lucky if we even get a second single over the next 12 months. 3. Music video is 100% not coming today. It's coming next week or the week after or maybe not even at all. Not being pessimistic, but it's Sky we're talking about. After the struggle this single release has been, even getting the song with the correct cover art on Spotify and maaaaaybe one newspaper interview is a lot.

It might premiere on Zane Lowe’s show (although I doubt it is since there’s been no mention of it thus far).

I hope that the EP info is false and that there’s an album coming. A lot of sources have said it is so I’m just gonna be optimistic. We’ll know more on/after the 25th anyway.

Hasn’t it been confirmed by insiders that it’s not finished and that it’s coming next year? I read that somewhere iirc. They’re doing an EP first I think? But then again I’ve seen people spill details on the track list so maybe it is almost finished? Not to mention that Sky said at the start of the year when she reposted a magazine’s “Most anticipated albums of the year” list that it’s coming for real this time. But I agree with what everybody is saying: If it’s this much hassle to put out one song then I can’t even begin to imagine the mess she’ll be causing when it comes to releasing the album. Considering that the song has been up on DSPs since the week after the first teaser I’m guessing all these delays really were her doing. The label probably gave the go ages ago and readied the song for release only for her to spend the month after that panicking over the release and being too scared to actually release it. That’s why she never posted an announcement and only gave vague hints. With her festival run approaching I’m guessing they made her commit to a date at last and that’s why it’s coming out. I really don’t see anything else following anytime soon tho if I’m honest. It’ll come eventually but it’s just always a whole process for her to get these things out.

Didn't 111 say that it's still coming? I can't see the label scrapping it when they put money into it already. Sky probably just doesn't want post about it yet. Maybe she's not feeling great or smth. I wouldn't worry just yet. If there's no announcement by Tuesday, then it's probably safe to say things were delayed, but until then I'm still holding out hope.

I’m kinda losing all hype for this tbh. The song is great, but the fact that she hasn’t announced it yet - which doesn’t promise anything good - and that the album is still not done just kinda turned me off it.

That would fit with Tamaryn saying that Sky "is about to release some of the songs" they wrote together.

She just changed her Insta profile pic. It’s def a shot from the music video or the album cover shooting. Announcement should be fairly soon now. Hopefully next week.

I don’t understand what they’re doing. The complete lack of transparency is infuriating. Sky has a loyal fan base, they deserve to be in the know. After the teaser dropped and nothing happened for 2 weeks she should have explained what’s taking so long. At this point I’m expecting the song to not be released until after her summer festivals. It’s an actual joke. At least the leak is still up so I’ll keep listening to that for the coming weeks. Their loss.
