Run on sentence aside, there's an awful lot of subjectivity and purity testing here. I assure you, it's not that deep.

Unrelated to any of the discourse, can someone tell me why the simple wikipedia for Taylor looks the way that it does??? https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taylor_Swift The "Pickles" and "100000000000000 yrs old" is sending me. Related to the discourse:

I'm about finding personal solutions to external problems and outcomes that we cannot control. If the cover is ugly to someone, then just find a DIY way to handle it. Go to a print shop and run off something and then glue it over the jacket. We're not helpless little beings here, adrift in the wind and at the whims of whatever life throws us. There *are* solutions to our personal first world grievances, if we disabuse ourselves from the notion that the solutions have to also come from the people causing the distress. Tune in next time when I recommend drinking a glass of cyanide as a healthy alternative to Melanie Martinez and Ava Max concerts.

It's the way I realized I have friends who are moving there (so I have a couch to crash on), so I decided to try and get tickets, and they're all sold out. I guess I'd have to get from resellers if I wanted to go, and honestly.....I'm tired and have other financial priorities.

I'm still bitter over this one. Literally where I live and I just....missed it.

Same-ish. None of these locales are close to me. I guess Baltimore would be the closest but....then I have to go to fucking Baltimore.

I've been telling people if they truly hate it so much, just wreck your vinyl jacket and bend it backwards and stick it in a sleeve. Then the inside picture becomes the cover and you get to decide which is worse: staring at the green square with sans serif font, or having a bent/rurnt jacket but getting Charli's face on the outside. Easy low hanging fruit bonus points: print a custom jacket, print off your own cover and slip into the CD jewel case, or just give up on life altogether for a nihilistic feel.

Covid robbed them of their taste and it's never coming back I fear.

I have put down my knife and opted for a silicone spatula to wave in your direction instead. I'm watching you....

I'm sorry are we implying Taxi is a flop???

So instead of doing my day job I decided to organize some unreleaseds into my own album ideaa and make their own covers. I am not a graphic designer nor do I aspire to be.

Thank you very much may your pussy be poppin' for the rest of the week.

Might be suffering from a brain condition but hasn't someone linked a website in the past that has like....archives of all Charli photoshoots? Like it has all the outtakes and behind the scenes shit from stuff that's leaked or been published? I swear there was a site, I just never saved the links.

I've been tidying up my Charli unreleased (most is sorted under like 3 large "albums" and so messy) and going back over Sucker-era I'm finding myself like "You know....the hate is undeserved."

I approach most things in my life with equal intensity, so therefore: No. (◠‿◠✿)

I get that, but I mean like, who *are* they? Someone big? Someone anyone should know about? Relevant in pop culture? Or just someone referring to themselves in the 3rd trying to make it sound like they ate a little something and did a little something piggybacking off of...a spring breakers edit?

We can't lock the thread. It's gotta stay here so that in 5 years when she releases a new single it can sit on the front of LB wit that "Hot Topic" label slapped on it, and then go right back into the drain. Peaks and valleys y'all, peaks and valleys.

Exactly what moment I'm thinking of. XCX World being the biggest "loss for the culture" despite her saying it, and everything around it, being painful because the art never got to live the life she intended for it, as well as the interviews and comments where she hinted being really upset by the whole ordeal when it happened... This could be her way of "taking back that power" and saying "It's obvious that people want this shit, and they're hell bent on getting it behind my back and wishes no matter what, so might as well have some control in the process and stop working "the old way" with my material and take a new approach."

"I'm into the idea of this massive amount of material being out there..." Interesting. This whole post says "I love leak culture" because that's what we do - amass tons of content from an artist and make believe on what could have happened with it. I just got done updating and pulling in a bunch of Charli material, and I've got like 670 songs with her name on them in my iTunes. It's a lot. To read her having an opinion that's more or less supportive of that....I'm.....suspicious. I'll put it like that. In an age where "everything leaks" and artists are scrapping whole projects when it happens (Sza, FKA Twigs), or people are otherwise mad on social media about it (Billie, Slayyyter, etc.), regardless if it's album content or non, to suddenly take a thinly veiled stance that supports and aligns with what goes on in leak-land is....interesting. She also did say she was in her lying era. I'm not trusting it until I see the content for sale, on streaming, or uploaded to Soundcloud or some shit. I read the "releasing a lot of my demos...and playing them at my shows" as an exclusive 'and', not an inclusive one - aka "her playing them at shows is her way of releasing them".
