An opinion saying "I don't like her lyrics on this track" or "I don't like the way she sang this part on this track" is different than "Omfg, she's releasing another soundtrack song?" or "Omfg, she's releasing another album? She just fucking released one..." Know the difference. The latter is what I'm talking about. Can you fucking read?

Part of me wishes she would double down on the production of UV, fully embracing the lo-fi fuzziness, while still using a mic more befitting her budget.

Perhaps this sort of instrumentation, just slower.

Or for something more melodic, like this, with her whisper-y vocals.

Listening to Catch and Release, Maha Maha and Golden Grill, I reallllly want her to go down the experimental route because these songs are just so great.

Exactly, if you like Born To Die and Ultraviolence, go and listen to them people and knock yourself out

Honeymoon is a new era, which means it's time for something new and we all need to be fucking excited!

Yes but we have these songs, Honeymoon will have new songs- I'd rather that than have a rehash of something I've heard before.

I would love a bluesy remake of Oh Say Can You See, if there were any remakes at all. I would prefer all new tracks.

I'm also loving the variety concept. Lana is so versatile and can do many genres well. Given this, her works still don't feel inconsistent, and you can imagine the singular connector that blends these sonic and aesthetic qualities together being her ability to combine them using a gripping and melodramatic narrative.

She really did strike a perfect balance between familiarity, continuity, and variety. It all feels so interconnected, even if you listen to AKA and the subsequent albums up to now, and it all just fits so perfect.

AO is a disappointing. Maybe it will grow on me like FFS, but I don't think that'll be the case. Oh, and that performance yesterday was tragic and if I stanned for her I would have cried from embarrassment.

I love it when Azealia pisses off conservatives. The meltdowns in the Fox News comment sections were golden. I'm a bit disappointed she backtracked on the hate-train in this interview, but I suppose that was what the situation called for.

I find it sad to see MC made fun of in here... Like I Get where this is coming from but she's a very special artist to me, she's helped me a lot when I got through some shit so... If it's not to create constructive criticism, could we not ?

"Butterfly" is a gem in R&B music and I think that anybody who knows a but about the genre will confirm that, although that's not the point here !

This is what makes her amazing. Her juxtaposition of different genres that are nothing alike to form one fluent piece of music.

You can support equality and not feminism. Feminism is just one certain brand of "social justice". It's a single ideology that not everyone has to adhere to to be progressive or forward thinking. In my opinion, no self respecting male should be part of that moment given how it's ultimately opposed to their very existence.
