exactly. i think it doesnt help that she doesnt really act like a normal person. it’s not her fault, because she’s at a level of fame where it might be unsafe. but i think it’s hard for some people who lack empathy for her to see her come out friday night performing in a sparkling bodysuit in sold out stadiums in australia, fly to a red carpet in her private jet in california on saturday, and go to her boyfriend’s football game sunday. i think it’s extreme jealousy but also a “well she’s making money and she’s succesful so how is she complaining” kind of thing. i wish she would post on tumblr, insta, even tiktok the way she would post in 2013. something to help people connect the music to her as a person and make people realize that she is a human being. also im sure half of these people who “hate” ttpd would have hated midnights if it was released in its place on friday, just because of their current feelings for her.
