it’s interesting seeing people complain about her releasing a deluxe album with the standard at the same time

as if that wasn’t the norm before the streaming era. like, let’s be serious here

!!!!! i actually despise when artists release their “deluxe” versions months or a year later. like keep it. a memorable instance for me is Chloe x Halle. the deluxe edition tracks were terrible.

  2. holy shit, the new album is so fucking good truly. :gclap: i'm shocked because i really didn't care for Beach House at all....meanwhile i've come to like it listening to the entire album. it makes sense. also soooo happy she got Rufus Wainwright for the title track, his voice is stellar. i'm never doubting her again, it is terrible that she somewhat got a bit overshadowed on release day.

folklore-evermore are not even close to be taylor's best albums and i'm so happy she changed a direction with midnights in a very best way:legend:

thank you for saying this, you're so real. evermore is literally just folklore b sides. it annoys me how hyped it is.

I called your response passive-aggressive because of what you added which was “since you’re so concerned” simply because I was wondering why wasn’t Lana mentioning the track/collaboration at all. Please don’t play these games with me, I’m 100% bullshit free and don’t have any patience for this type of back and forth. Be nice or be gone, please.

you quoting me with this........back and forth, i have to laugh honestly....the lack of self awareness is hilarious and sad. be nice or be gone, please and try to stay on topic. no need to quote me any further. <3

OT: i wonder when we get more videos? when she announced that it would be a visual album i kind of woke up expecting all the videos to be available to watch.

But it does happen? Quite often even with major label artists, I’m not saying sky is deficient of any blame but albums and videos by Lana herself like UV were nearly entirely remade or the videos were scrapped(actually happened) after label interference.

Like some of you just want to hate her for fun, watch a film, go on a date with your partner etc

okay but the difference is Ultraviolence exists! so why are you here? watch a film, go on a date with your partner etc!!!!

  6. i’m getting called passive aggressive for providing a user (who….what are they doing in the Taylor Swift thread besides being hateful and complaining about her lyricism? lol) with a link to a tweet about Lana Del Rey acknowledging the song….erm okay! :raven:

ot: Karma is a good song, i honestly think the purring like a cat in my lap line is adorable.

Elton, Shirley Manson, Debbie Harry, Stevie Nicks, Dev Hynes...

Dev Hynes dumping her should’ve told us something. he blocked me on twitter back in the day for defending her.

Wait, has Lana acknowledged this collaboration at all?

does she need to? i’m sure she has more important things on her mind like deranged losers breaking into her car and stealing her computer.

this feels like what reputation & lover should've been and i think listening to this album with that mindset helps it make more sense

like imagine this sitting between 1989 and folklore... the power

    THIS!!!!

To me it's very telling how well established celebrities reach out to help Sky and then seem to dip out of the scene when they see what's really going on behind the scenes.365P.gif

well yes. Elton John saw she wasn’t a hard worker at all and left! everyone stream Hold Me Closer which is available on all streaming platforms NOW. it features a real star, Britney Jean Spears!!!!!

Nothing will compare to Fergie throwing LA Love onto the double dutchess. The song was literally pushing 6 years old at that point

ot: yeah we really should be wrapping this album cycle up at this point in my opinion.

first of all.....this picture is old as hell and yet this still looks better than whatever Madonna has going on with her face over there :air:

I hated her before but LWYMMD is like the perfect return. The perfect way to play off her corny as also an idgaf attitude. Idk now she just comes off as a genuine cornball to me. My top 3 from rep are

    Dancing With Our Hands Tied

    Call It What You Want

Dress = Don’t Blame Me are TIED

okay great choices!!! Dancing With Our Hands Tied is definitely a major highlight.

OT: You're on Your Own, Kid is the worst track and i dislike it actually. we'll see if i delete it from my library.
    Vigilante Shit isn't horrible.

    Produced by Jack Antonoff:

Out of the Woods (#18, Platinum)

    I Don't Wanna Live Forever (#2, 4x Platinum)

Look What You Made Me Do (#1, 4x Platinum)

    Lover (#10, 2x Platinum)

Cruel Summer (acclaimed + interpolated in a #3, 3x Platinum hit)
All Too Well 10 Minute (#1, Platinum)

I don't know why people act like Jack dominates her life when most of her singles this decade have been with other producers; Folkmore was predominantly Aaron Dressner + Taylor's Version is predominantly Chris Rowe :rip: This is her first album where Jack does a majority of the production work

nah forreal because......Jack isn't the problem....and i 1000000% don't want her working with Max Martin or anything like that's not her sound!
