I do agree. Like I think NFR! is cohesive-ish. It has upbeat songs like Doin’ Time and Best American Record but overall, it has a very cohesive theme. That is kinda what I think this record will be like. Maybe not sound 100% cohesive but the themes will show a strong connection. Like what BOZ said, it is like a personal diary

Personally, I don’t care about cohesiveness. I just want beautiful quality music. I’m actually excited for the pastor interlude, I hope it is a little creepy

Blue Banisters was a rushed album. Like all around it was a very rushed project that didn’t reach its full potential. I feel like judging Drew Ericksons work off of that album would be unfair (even though I do love Blue Banisters) But I will say, all her work with Jack has been very good. I know a lot of people dislike Chemtrails but it is very well produced and just as good as NFR! imo

I’m so here for Candy Necklace, I remember being so thrilled the night she posted a snippet, the fact we are actually getting it is so thrilling

Tbh I think people would be tired of Rick Nowels if they were still working together. I think they had kinda done what they were going to do. I think Jack is almost at the same point, I give them two more records. I hope she finds a few new people to work with who really help her push her artistry further, like Jack and Rick did. I do think this album will help people fall in love with Jacks work again, like like how BOZ said, when Jack is good, it is good

I’m really excited to discover the sound of this era, I’m really feeling jazzy west coast synth soft rock with some trap influences.
