  1. i feel bad for bringing the vibe down earlier cuz i got into a little spat myself i mostly avoid those online but today something got the best of me but live laugh love, 2 days till the streaming parties maybe my contribution..could be as small as hopin that words could turn to birds.. and birds could send my thoughts your way
  2. @Fingertips @Jeanne Dielman donโ€™t leave us loves <3 hoping everyone n everything calms down with the official release this week n maybe some fun posts from lana, merch drop, content from the listening parties/pop up, possible music video? etc.
  3. no it's the philosophy behind it babes, im just too much of a free spirit (i guess) to think of things being that way for myself or anyone else. undoubtedly with complete freedom comes risk, aka the possibility of bad things... e.g a "go do drugs" esque post if thats the example we are using, that's the price of it for sure but id rather that than it be monitored or policed in anyway honestly. now i see your view too, truly, its just not mine feeling slightly misunderstood rn and i think we should really just leave it here cuz we are going in circles atp & i said we could agree 2 disagree on it SORRY EVERYONE FOR CLOGGING THREAD
  4. sorry, i meant sinister aka evil is a *strong* word, like again, all i said is its a lil weird TO ME but i dont think bartttender is dracula or something lol. i do think if you need to have someone look after every post you make, even down to a little instagram comment, it is kind of controlling & belittling tho. of course managers don't control an artist, that was actually my entire point bc some people seem to think they should to certain degrees- e.g with choosing singles n social media.
  5. not really, i read everything he wrote n didn't see it as "sinister" (strong word, i said its weird at the most in my last post) after getting to know his thought process & i even said we'll agree to disagree but i simply have a different philosophy on things n was sharing that?
  6. yeah of course her manager could also be a woman & my point would still also be exactly the same lmao- it is weird to a degree to think any human should or deserves to be policed so heavily by another. what cause they're famous? we, the public, create the celebrity and they shouldn't have to suffer for that IMO. will they make blunders? undoubtedly, thats life, we all make them too. I'm sorry but i just think it's weird the way you talk about people "letting" her do things almost as if her free will is problematic .... i don't like that kind of take but lets just agree to disagree on it atp.
  7. well then I have to say I'm glad Lana's management doesn't do things that way. she obviously is with them specifically for *that* reason. nothing goes out with her say & while I get especially for a celebrity in the limelight a certain "image" can matter and be important, i feel like we are very lucky to have her authenticity even if its messy at times. shes a human being too before everything else and its okay for her to act like one to me managers are more like supporters who help with promoting n marketing *the artists* vision , plan any events around it, tours etc. but whatevaaaa
  8. yeah except thats not what he said lmfao.. a week ago when The Grants came out he specifically said that Ben & Ed shouldn't have "let" her go with it as the 3rd single... n now that they shouldn't "let" her make instagram comments???? what do either of those things have to do with Ben and Eds actual job??? I have no problem with someone saying "Ben & Ed don't do their job well" but dont get it twisted, their job isn't policing Lanas every move or deciding how she releases the music she, not they, created imo.
  9. literally every time you don't agree with something Lana does, even something as simple as her choices for singles or leaving a comment on instagram you bring up how her managers are the problem for "letting" her do it. as if they have/deserve this sort of power over her anyway... she is a grown adult woman with autonomy and thank God for that. no one owns her and no one ever will or should. these comments are getting borderline creepy and misogynistic, please check yourself for once thx.
  10. when each exclusive vinyl has a different version of candy necklace on it & thatโ€™s why theyre coloured pink green white & red the true surprise boz was talking about
  11. no right the way some of these reviews open up with what sounds like a hostage situation djdjdjsj
  12. GIGWISE RLY GAVE DREW ERICKSON HIS FLOWERS THO I LOVE IT FOR HIM ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’ so deserved for let the light in, sweet, fingertips, the grants & co contributions on title track
  13. "As she steps into new lyrical territory here, so too does Lana enter new sonic worlds. Her ninth album merges the soulful, classic, timeless sounds of a singer-songwriter from a distant time and the vocal melodies and techniques of an old Hollywood starlet (itโ€™s not hard to imagine the likes of Audrey Hepburn singing parts on songs like โ€˜Sweetโ€™)" love that
