It's very weird for her to have such an explicitly violent track, it makes me so uncomfortable and I love how all the 80s albums are at the bottom of your list lmao the 80s were overrated for sure

https://www.instagram.com/p/CkRt8ISvpMh/ this caption on rob's ig also why do his captions always sound like Lana songs? Extraordinary moments captured…at Olive Garden Out on the Pacific Ocean yesterday…sunset and heading back to port It’s so hot out here the Hollywood sign may burst into flames Beautiful late summer scene with Goldenrod gently moving in a warm mountain breeze…but fall is just a whisper away Distant fireworks across Narragansett Bay at sunset… At the helm of a Hunter 36’ sloop on Narragansett Bay, RI…the 15 knot winds to our back…racing a thunderstorm home

Ok I'll only do this for the official albums she's literally ancient (with all due respect) and there are too many releases in ascending order Just realized I have a lot of feelings but anyway

I don't like Dark But Just a Game, it sounds weird. Should be "Just a Game" imo. Heroin too, it's one of my favorite Lana songs but the title sounds crass btw is there a "favorite Lana song titles"?? Because I would like to submit Pin Up Galore

Y'all, is it really "my umbrella"?? Or is it "my own brother" 😬 or something else? I really hope it's umbrella, I love how she assigns meaning to random objects

take it back now jk I get what you mean, but imo AL is the antithesis of Music, obviously after 2001 and the Iraq war she couldn't explore americana imagery and american folk like (I think?) she intended to, I understand. I would never say a Madonna album is bad, but for me it's very hard to listen to AL - it's so sad and agressive (again, I understand why though, she was mad). You're such an American Life apologist I see you is it your favorite M album by chance?

High by the Beach and Swan Song sound very nice played back to back To me it always sounded like she's singing Swan Song to herself - she's tired and only wants to get high by the beach... and then die

I love love love her "weird" vocals sorry I don't have enough English vocabulary to describe them

Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor is kind of overrated... I mean, it's obviously great and one of the peaks of her career (the production is perfect) but I think some of the songs sound much better as the live versions she did for the Confessions tour (Let it Will Be, Future Lovers, Jump), because they drag on a little bit when you listen to the actual album. I think that in terms of innovation, Music is much more creative like, she basically created a genre called folktronica (folk + electronic music) and Don't Tell Me is straight up a masterpiece. Confessions has more commercial appeal and more hits but Music is just so cool

sounds about right
