    I'm sorry but the whole critic thing just feels so outdated, like an ancient practice :eyeroll2: who are they to say what should and should not be on an album? It's always been kind of weird and pointless, but nowadays it just holds no meaning anymore. Literally who are those guys?

    None for me tbh, I think that comes with the fact that I listen to music more sporadically and only when I'm in a certain mood, so I don't feel like I've ever overplayed a LDR song.

     

    However,  I had memories attached to NFR specially and I couldn't bear to listen to Norman and FIILY in early 2020, I'd have a complete mental breakdown LMAO but I guess I got desensitized bc nowadays I can listen to them, np :whatever2:

     

    If had to say one song I  can't listen too, is her cover of Goodbye Kiss. That shit hits way to hard.

    Here's my personal opinion on the album so far

    Lana albums are a super slow burn to me, so I never click with them right away - for instance, it took me 8 months to fully absorb BB.

    So, I'm taking my time with DYKTTATUOB, but I mean, it's hot. I think it's very avant garde tbh, as Jack said - she doesn't need to follow rules, she's setting them. It'll probably be hard to process for me as a long time fan, so I honestly think the GP won't like it, aside from a few songs that'll "save it". 

    My favorites so far:

     

    Peppers - I loved it since the first listen, I wanted a new Lana bop so bad

    Kintsugi - one of the most gorgeous melodies ever

    Let the light in - reminds me of my ex, fml :toofloppy:

    Candy Necklace - is that bitch, but I feel the HQ version is going to be 1000 times better

    Taco Truck - I wish we had more of this song instead of VB honestly :pft: it's amazing and so fresh, the style suited Lana like a glove, the lyrics were cute af. 

     

    I'll take my time and I know that I'll love every song in a few months from now 'cause I always do, I never skip a single LDR song

    You're literally a life saver LMAO it makes so much sense that she's mentioning a song and not some random notebook :toofloppy: and after that verse she says accordion so yeah, this is it. I think by the lyrics she means that she knew this very old song since she was 14?
