I Don’t know how I feel about it… this sounds like the record will be very tame and with no cohesion… sad to see she has dropped the Rock act this soon… cause it suited her so much! And with this exposure she is getting it could make it work (pretty sure PH didn’t do as good because of promotion) still excited to see what comes next! As predicted Muddy Feet sounds like a mess, but the snipped was great so I’m conflicted

The melody being a Bella Porch nock off (someone clearly really heavily inspired by Melanies aesthetic yet totally unoriginal and tasteless…) I’m not the only one seeing the irony here, right? This is a step back for sure… WE WERE ROOTING FOR U!!

On another note… the themes in this songs are getting repetitive already… like I get some songs talking about the afterlife, the void, portals, reincarnation and rebird but how many of this are about the same already…? Tracks 1, 2, 6, and 9 seem to be… The leaks had much more variety talking about mental health (DB), relationships (Garden), sex (TV), afterlife (Void), feminism (Sirens), self confidence (Barely Juice), even periods (Moon Cicle)…

For me the problem is not that it’s reminiscent of her old style, I don’t mind that at all, but that corny ass melody! Insufferable, sounds like any other nursery rhyme on You Tube kids play to drive their parents to insanity! So bad… makes me wanna tear my ears apart and all of this after the Void… which is an excellent track so far! If this made the cut before any of the leaks we have so far… I’m afraid for her taste level like seriously Also that mask thing is getting old and I hate it… I get the trying to emulate another species thing but couldn’t she just stick to the K-12 movie cut where she lies in the ground with a pink suit… strange yet more visually appealing! this rollout it’s being insane, one moment I’m hopeful for the album and the next… she drops the ball

exactly, it’s like the music videos where between cut scenes that made 0 sense… she could have at least kept an scene that added to the story to explain the money thing or anything else! The weed thing… seems more like a cringy teenager trying to be edgy to me! but enough of K-12, it was a traumatic experience and I still have severe PTSD from that, trying to forget about that do you guys think she will reveal the tracklist some day? The album is less than a month apart now

The lenght of the songs has been revealed! Flowers 3:20 Jaded 3:05 Rose Colored Lenses 3:43 Thousand Miles (Feat. Brandi Carlile) 3:51 You 2:59 Handstand 3:25 River 2:42 Violet Chemistry 4:06 Muddy Feet (Feat. Sia) 2:17 Wildcard 3:13 Island 3:59 Wonder Woman 3:04 at least there’s one song over 4 minutes but sooo sick and tired of this 2 minute song trend for the streams… well, this one at least is not as bad as I predicted Also due to You having the same lenght as the live performance I predict little to no changes with the final (not mad)

Ur right, to me it sounds good but the rest of the songs so far sound a little more… polished, so I don’t know how it will disrupt the whole vibe… if she wanted to go garageband she could have gone all the way and make the whole record that way, but I don’t see Void and TV side by side for example… sounds like they belong in two different albums!

Ugh if the new material is near as good as the void and the leaked songs we’re in for a treat I tell you!! that said, my least favourite snippets so far have been the libs one and the next to that… not as exciting as the rest!

U haven’t missed much, I fell asleep but watched till the end to hear Fire Drill… some horrible piece u can’t unsee and a complete waste of time, can’t believe I stayed up late to watch… that… crap! that said, I think Death may be about her reincarnation to call it that way and Void about entering the new dimension leaving the void behind (referring to the death)… if so, Death is a potential first single but I think a follow up with Void could be a great idea! Either way, both are my favourites with TV

Knowing her… u know this won’t be the case! Once she has started producing herself she might start recording her Music Videos with a camera and a tripod at home and editing with moviemaker im joking… but if anything we know miss Melanie can by a little stubborn and control freak so I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts doing all by herself from now on which can go both ways… I think it’s a valid concern

I wouldn’t complain if this its the first song honestly, but I have a feeling it may be Death… just for the “story’s” sake and to go in chronological order… by the snippet I wouldn’t say it’s a bad choice either! Sounds dope! At this point any single she drops, I’ll take it… but please not a K-12 situation again

Yeah, without doubt this is the best snippet so far, that said, these visuals make me afraid for the film/music videos… they seem really cheap. I know she was going for a spooky thing but still… the song sounds great and I’m happy she produced herself, we love a self made queen (Grimes, Marina, Madonna, Mariah…) but still I prefer the chorus to the verses
