I kinda love that they don’t. Seeing that the Jon Interlude is 3 and a half minutes gives me ideas of it being the “radio hit.” Imagine Jon Batiste Interlude being the new Doin Time. It would be so camp.

So all the songs using the piano tracks are a few seconds longer than the original “sample.” My guess is that they added strings to them and maybe some added programming. Honestly tho I think they won’t be massively different otherwise. I think whoever said the samples aren’t what we expect is in reference to VB and the TG collab.

You can delay an album the day before it’s supposed to drop if you want. But most likely the delay is due to vinyl production. The blurry track list we had been working with was a mock up and it’s different from the one Lana posted- the tracks on side B and C are different. So likely the physical media hasn’t even gone into production yet or it’s just barley entered queue at the plants. Which means the masters could’ve been approved within the last few weeks.
