  1. That's what I am guessing. I heard of it for the first time in the post above, and since Royal mail could be responsible for not registering the tax being paid according to my information, maybe the cyber attack was the reason why I had to pay again. The seller wrote the IOSS on the parcel, but obviously they did not register it. Need to find out tomorrow where in this long chain the mistake happened...
  2. I am afraid there is a bit of reason to worry actually regarding customs and packaging - I have some feeling the seller did a mistake with the tax number. Unless the hacker attack on royal mail mentioned above was responsible for the double tax, could be possible. I also think the seller currently got too many orders after Lana's insta post. The producing times are much longer than stated and some recent buyers complained about the quality... I hope you will get it without trouble however. Please let us know.
  3. I know, it's no official merch, but still Lana got her cake boxes from the same seller (see honeymoon insta), so I wanted to share these photos with you and also my experience, in case you want to order one, too: They arrived today, luckily complete. The box the seller used was very fragile and was not handled well by the post, so I expected the worst. Only the mirror in the white box need to be glued on again. Unfortunately there must have happened a mistake with the seller's custom declaration, so I had to pay the VAT again... plus post office fees. I asked her before if she knows how to do it and didn't expect this now... So if you order from outside UK, you might face the same problem. I am so tired if ordering from UK. Will try to get the second VAT back now... However, the white/pink one did not look 100% as pictured on Etsy (color and form of "icing" - still OK though, but I would have preferred as pictured), the white one I ordered with strawberries instead of cherries... So (having paid EUR 127 incl. shipping and VAT plus EUR 19 second VAT) not really satisfied I have to say, especially as I know now how to do it myself, lol. https://www.etsy.com/de/listing/1219872021/gothic-vintage-fake-kuchen-schmuck-boxen?click_key=6245881f7b21ee8dd41f848c03fe22b1fe1cc513%3A1219872021&click_sum=410a827b&ref=shop_home_recs_3 https://www.etsy.com/de/listing/1328406277/marie-antoniette-vintage?click_key=a2f7e929601cfcd74e2565dc911c8a8add040455%3A1328406277&click_sum=18686623&ref=shop_home_recs_2&crt=1
  4. Hope this is the right thread - Could anyone who has got the original (!) heart shaped vinyl in their collection help me out please with the measurements of the vinyl (as pictured, inches are ok, too, of course)? Web information is anywhere between 7" and 10", but I have now looked for various collection photos including the heart shaped vinyl and even those differ! I suppose there are a lot of replicas out there, which are not true to size (and shape even). On some photos, the vinyl seems to have the same diameter as a 12" picture disc, on others it's much smaller, more like 10". I need this for an art project (see below). I bought a cheap transparent red vinyl and want to cut it like the original (as I did with the black vinyl), sticker it with a custom label and frame it, along with other stuff. (work in progress:)
  5. I think if I got these mails more than once I would send them a message why they keep on doing this. Maybe they will stop if many people complain about it.
  6. The Monroe sequence seems to be post-produced however, as these pictures we got from it must be stills? The way they are edited looks like typical video effects to me. Really curious what they will come up with. 5 looks seems a lot for a video of normal length though, if "5" indicates looks.
  7. Same thought. Have been thinking about getting a box to hold all these vinyls and sticker it somehow actually. 😅 You are right about the main cover! It reminds indeed of Mona Lisa a bit, mixed with that famous movie poster for pulp fiction. 😅
  8. Thanks! :-) It's a UK seller from Etsy. I actually ordered 2 boxes, they are on the way. But I really wanted the mirror, too, without paying 100 euros, so I made it myself for like 20 euros in 1,5 hours, lol. Doesn't look too professional, was my first "cake icing" attempt, but the result is satisfying enough for what I wanted. I might make more Lana "photo cakes" maybe. 😅 This is the seller: https://www.etsy.com/de/shop/FakesCakess?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=1378451961
  9. Especially as we also don't know if the prototype she was holding was according to her wishes. Maybe she wanted to change more about it for production, so it might take much longer. The context was pretty clear however, so I am pretty sure she meant exactly this necklace. We just need to wait. I also don't worry about it selling out within a few hours - she knows how high the demand is obviously, so I guess they will produce a lot and probably won't mind to reorder more if the demand is higher than expected. I only wished she would also listen to the demand for a heart shaped vinyl, lol. It doesn't have to have the same tracks as the original, just any transparent red heart shaped vinyl with a song by her would do, lol.
  10. They are super slow but usually things turn out good with them in the end. When they had the technical trouble with their site and mail, it took 2 months until my refund problem was solved, but it was solved.
  11. Not for EU countries. Just if it goes outside EU, like Switzerland for example. I was so frustrated about that expensive shipping for the hoodie box that I have started to make my own Lana boxes now, lol. Work still in progress. Cake box inspired, step by step today:
  12. Yes, as there is plenty of time until release date. But be prepared you need to write them at least 2 times. It helps giving them a deadline in the 2nd mail, lol.
  13. Just order from Australia and after that, cancel your US order. Did so with the picture disc, they were super fast. I'd recommend email though, just to avoid they cancel the wrong order in case you got more open orders.
  14. I guess I will exchange my white vinyl with this one. I just hate the cover of the white vinyl. It's probably the worst picture of her ever to me. So far I have only played white (because it arrived first) and since I got the others, I only play the green one to death as I adore this color. I opened them all however. I generally don't get them for resale.
  15. UK site says: Artwork censored for store. Actual Artwork is uncensored https://shop.lanadelrey.polydor.co.uk/*/*/Did-you-know-that-there-s-a-tunnel-under-Ocean-Blvd-Alt-Cover-2LP/7RYM0000000 On the German site the JS interlude is included to the track list btw.
  16. Maybe it's a third press 😅 it looks less frosted than my EU version still.
  17. Because a lot of people were not able to find it in stores, even in the US. Then they announced a restock which never came. So it's pretty rare already. I wonder if they printed less than usually. I read on German wikipedia they usually print 38,000 copies.
  18. Thank you so much! I wished I had bought it now, lol. But it seems like they have no more in stock on the official site for discount. But I might try interscope.
  19. They kind of missed Paradise though. Maybe they don't follow a specific order. (Especially as Songs like Ride really deserve their own merch collection.) Which era did the heart necklace get sold in? Would make sense to release a new version with the suitable LDR village era drop, even though it seems more likely they will sell it through the regular US store. But during the Chemtrails era, the two shops got kind of merged, maybe they'll do this again.
  20. I love those actually, but why can't they drop them all at once? Just to make us pay for shipping more often?
  21. would make sense, as then they calculated the weight forgetting it's a double picture disc.
  22. yes, would love to have it, too. But by now I think I will just buy a box suitable to hold vinyls and stick a photo print of her on it. Just don't wanna pay that much for shipping. Unless they bring it up in the village, so I could order some tees along with it. I am still thinking about getting the hoodie in her German store, I need one anyway (and have no time to wait until the US one would arrive) because it's still so cold here and because of my pregnancy I am running out of clothing still fitting, lol. Since I have the measures from you, I know now which size to get.
  23. I think that's possible. Would have been great though if the box was a 12" to store tunnel vinyls in. Btw, looks like they restocked the black hoodie box set. It's available in all sizes again. And the AW necklace! https://shoplanadelrey.com/products/AW-necklace
  24. I agree. I am still busy listening to it and getting an opinion about it. Lana's albums always need to be listened a lot of times to be able to fully appreciate them. But that's why I can still listen to them again and again years after, they never get boring as many other artists' albums do. I am in love especially with side C of the vinyl. Also love side A, but I have skipped this side a few times because 3 tracks are well known already. However, on side D I still didn't get used to the Angelina Jolie verse, can't say I like it and it seems total nonsense to me, lol. Maybe there's a meaning behind and I just don't get it, I don't know.
  25. Just to inform you about the size of the pill holder, or if you want to get a cheap version (25 USD plus shipping and maybe custom and post office fees is quite a lot): My pill holder from China has just arrived. I took a picture of it trying to hold it like Lana on her insta for comparison. It's the 54mm option (I think that's the size of her merch pill holder, too, unless her hands are much bigger than mine, lol) from this seller, just to show you the size. I bought it for less than 7 Euro, without engraving of course. https://www.ebay.de/itm/402772540612 Lana's photo:
