Believe it or not, I have one of these frosted ("transparent") Chemtrails vinyls which includes short black particles of 3mm long, looking like someone shaved his face in the factory over the pressing machine 😂 I still haven't made up my mind if I shall hate it or love it because that's surely pretty unique 😂

I know, but the German artist store sells the phantom clear version, just like target. So target exclusive it is only for the US. Just saying that all these "exclusive" descriptions are not really accurate anymore nowadays. Not only for Taylor.

LOL, but even that isn't perfectly exclusive (In Germany, the artist store has the "phantom clear" vinyl, so it's still not exclusive to target - US exclusive maybe? 😅). Btw, the US store currently seems to have "ghosted white" only. Did they never offer the clear one, for a Ltd time?

That's what I thought, too. I think she's always very safe with songs like bartender - I know many people don't like it, but if it helps her to start, she should start with this one, or better: something else catchier, which makes her feel safe in the same way

I don't think they criticized her singing abilities, more her choice to perform like this. That's why I think the review is OK, as they don't attack her as a singer (as I read it) but her creative decision here.

Unfortunately it's the standard version. I guess the other versions could be sold for what you paid in one or two years, but not the standard one of course. I could imagine we might get signed other variants as well.

Actually I don't find it that harsh, the author doesn't seem like a hater to me. I think the review has some points, while at the same time one can see it from another point of view. It was one of these typical Lana things, trying to avoid to fulfill anything what people might expect 😅 she's just doing her own thing on purpose.

I hardly understand she changed the dress only for this short ending. Do you think it's possible there was supposed to be a piano version by Jack of Blue Jeans with her singing it? Her 2nd dress looked like a reference to SNL live, too. It was so strange Jack was only on stage for this holographic performance.

Exactly what I thought. Since they so obviously referred to SNL, I waited all the time for a blue jeans performance in the same style. I wonder if it was planned but she then spontaneously skipped it because of her nervosity. However, with this kind of criticism addressing promotion, they should have done it a bit differently, showing her full range of vocal abilities
