I sometimes think it would be helpful if we had two threads for the new album - one being a facts thread and one being a speculation and wishes thread. It's really hard to keep up, like, for example, suddenly there are 20 posts about greatest hits, so I read 2 pages of posts back to see what it is about (just to find out it was an idea). The answer to the question about why this thread is hot (Henry is coming) was a joke I guess? 😅 Nice, but without a smiley hard to get without checking the last posts of 2 pages to see if there is indeed anything about it. To sum it up: Thing is you always see it's hot, you get excited, you even see posts talking about "news" which are actually either speculations, wishes or jokes, but you need to read between 2 to 20 pages to find out. It's disappointing (because it wasn't a fact) and it's getting tiring. Maybe two threads could be a solution? 😊

Looks like the vinyl mock up is wrong, it says "... Ativa" on the label

"horrendous" means it is highly likely to be true 😅 remember the BB picsart covers... Besides, the Neil Krug pics are not really HQ looking either usually. It's her style.

I'm not, I really appreciate his work, no matter if working with Lana or not. To me, they are a great combination for good music. 😊 I'm not really bothered by the silence. Especially as currently it's finally in fashion again to start pre-sales in time. Many preorders by big artists start 1 or 2 months before release date, with lead single or not, so there's still time, even for a September release.

Had to get that amazing golden Bronco RSD vinyl. Can't wait for the post, lol. Btw, for those who like his voice and music style - listening to him I feel reminded of one of my favorite singers, Danny Vera. He's also got that Cash-Presley mixture of sound, but with more retro vibes ❤️

Very true. I also have to say that I really like her voice and it's a unique voice, too. For the kind of music she's doing it's pretty perfect. I've seen her live in concert, too, (in 2013 I think) and was really impressed. Besides her photo shoots are always a pleasure to see. Always classy and beautiful, even when beauty and classical esthetics are not in fashion.

I'm sure she's going to make that genre her own. She always does, doesn't she? And she's not too far away from country in previous work, so I don't think that's something to worry about. She's surely not going to do something like Cowboy Carter 😅 Personally I'd prefer she releases her next album not too soon. Vinyl prices are crazy. Current double vinyls start at EUR 50 /USD 55!? We'll get poor if she drops many variants 😬 maybe we're lucky and vinyl prices drop again... Not that I'm optimistic about it, but I can hardly see them rising anymore.

Really like to listen to This is me... Now. It reminds me so much of On the 6, JLo, and, of course, This is Me... Then, that I feel like 14 again, when I became a fan in 2000 😅❤️ Might be no big thing nowadays regarding current trends, but I think it's a solid album with really nice songs. And I love how she makes fun of her critics and herself and her marriages in her music video. (And the vinyl editions are so lovely. Got my two favorite variants and a signed deluxe CD. Finally I got an autograph, after being a fan for 24 years! 😅)

And there are some really nice vinyl editions, including a glow in the dark one. I think I've just become a fan. Kylie shared her duet with him and I immediately fell in love with his voice. ❤️

Her approach to country would most likely be so different from Beyonce, I guess that cannot really influence her. Lana is so unique and innovative in all her approaches to music, this would never end up in some standard country album. And these recent pics she posted on insta exactly look like I imagine LASSO to be. That comment by her is really strange, but who ever knows what's on her mind 😂 besides, maybe be the user asking was so excited and misunderstood something, who knows!?

Talking about that, what's that sticker 9n her phone? A squirrel wearing a helmet? 😅🙈❤️ Would give an interesting lyric line for sure.

So true. I thought about selling the blue one later. Wouldn't have preordered, but 45 seems pretty low compared to other prices I've seen. So I thought better safe than sorry, I can still cancel.

There's a new black vinyl with the horse cover up for preorder, to be released June 28 - it's said to include all tracks. 45 EUR on amazon Germany, 60 USD on the US one. The colored vinyls are available on retailers now... 🙄 I've preordered the new variant but might cancel. Already got the blue one 🙄

Actually there is a nice solo version by her already. There's this amazing microphone record from the NFR tour in Sacramento, where she performed it live.

I think so, too, as these times (finally, luckily) seem to be over in general, but I also feel like September is realistic. She's just announced it, without starting a pre-sale. In the last years I usually preordered vinyls so many months ahead of release date, now it's like 2 months max. for any artist. I hope Lana won't be an exception, I'm tired of paying for stuff arriving 6 months later. Your whole "essay" seems very true to me. (no idea why the quote was split into 2 parts)

Is it in Germany still? This delay usually happens if the parcel has to be processed by the custom/toll office, but if it's delivered to a German address. (not to Austrian though, would be in an Austrian custom office then)
