Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd - Merch & Media Drop
Olympia replied to Elle's topic in New Releases
Do you hope for it to be the new item or could you read that in the code? Can't wait to see what it is however, thanks for the info. -

I also would like to get another bee tee or crewneck along with a new order... I also wished they would offer all items in both shops. Would have liked to buy the hoodie box from the US site with some tees from LDR village... Then the shipping would not have been so much/bad... -

Since there is hope for a re-release of it, you might better wait with buying a replica now. -

I searched for my own post about it, but the link says "not found": https://lana-del-rey-village.myshopify.com/products/chemtrails-blanket?_pos=1&_sid=b3f1a7acb&_ss=r -

Exactly for this reason - they just want you to order two times ๐ besides they might put it up on ldr village, so no help for the bundles anyway... I suppose they will still add more to village anyway. -

I had this, too, once, but don't worry - if they don't refund or replace, they are not that difficult to find (there are online shops for such things, and places like eBay). You could also ask people (over 30 years old) you know if they have old cassettes from earlier days they don't need anymore. -

you're welcome. Just make sure to insist on the refund, because at first they try their usual "we are not responsible for custom fees" sh**. Of course they are, if they take the VAT when you buy. Once mine arrived, I will also try to make me refund the post office fee for 6 EUR. That rule that shops take the VAT abroad already is more than a year old, it's a bad joke that a huge company Universal music is still not able to handle it. -
Lana covers Interview Magazine - March 2023 Issue [Print]
Olympia replied to Elle's topic in New Interviews
Indeed. I don't even know how to store it... I think it might be possible to find a suitable frame online. However, if you frame it, you have to destroy the magazine. Usually I do that, too, to keep all my magazines, but I could not do it yet because it sells for like 100 EUR and I felt like ripping a 100 EUR bill apart, lol. Since the size is so strange and the paper is not the best, it might be better to get a print of the digital image on real photo paper and frame this one. Might look better anyway. I was actually thinking about making myself a box with the photos of the interview magazine, since I kind of gave up on the box from the US webstore. The price incl. shipping is just insane. -

Unfortunately it would be available still in France for less through Urban Outfitters - any chances for you to cancel the previous order still? Lana Del Ray - Did You Know That Thereโs a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Indies Only Alternative Cover & Green LP | Urban Outfitters FR Regarding the Merch from her Uk store: They take it in advance, so you pay it while buying. But since they are too lazy or stupid to write the number on their declaration showing that it was paid already, you pay again but if you insist, they refund you the prepaid tax. You still have to pay the post fees though. -
Thanks - I worked on it for 2 years, so... ๐ No idea how many hours I spent on it. I added a lot of songs I had trouble to sort in to the "Queen of hearts" album. That song was the first one I was absolutely not able to add to any compilation, so I did it the other way round and looked for songs which could sound well along with it. I think those 2 you mentioned are in the QoH album now.
-
Looks like we do it in a similar way.
-
That's what I did. I have worked since 2020 now on compilation albums, to sort them by style and way of singing (use of voice, interpretation). I also gave them titles like albums, such as "Black Beauty", "Take me to Paris", "Queen of Disaster" etc. The years play a role, but not only. Watercolor Eyes for example sounds so UV that I included it to one of the UV compilations. Was hell of a work, but now I am finally satisfied (especially after the last updates this morning which are not reflected in the screen shots yet). Until the next leaks at least.

yes. Actually so far I thought it's a problem of the fnac copies, lol. I saw only complaints from fnac orders so far. -
I also wished they would bring back the old stuff again, it cannot have sold out completely. I always loved and still love the quality of the tees and hoodie (BB Eyes) though, also of the bee crewneck. I got so many of the tees and wear them almost daily. So actually I don't mind the price, just the shipping always adds so much... Besides, they were all made in the US - I hope the cotton comes from there, too. (I prefer this, as I suppose the people who created them were probably better paid than those who usually have to work in Bangladesh and other countries for almost no income.) The candles and air fresheners are lovely, too. The items I would avoid though are the mugs (not dishwasher safe, which you should expect when they charge you 30 USD for it, and even a few normal washes might destroy them - might be the same for the glasses, but I don't know) and cropped hoodies. I ordered once a normal hoodie (the Cartoon one) and it turned out to be a cropped one. It had an unseamed hemline and was of total thin material,no way as pictured. I got a refund for it in the end. I took measure of some of my LDR village items when I got them last year. I will have a look for them and share them here. So if they didn't change their sizes, which I doubt, you should know then. Edit: Found them. All measurements in cm. All clothing says "made in the USA". tote bag - not washable Bee crewneck in M wolf tee in M the cropped hoodie compared to what I ordered, lol. Size S. (When I ordered, it was not cropped yet, got a full refund.) Ladies' tee "Not all those who wander...", size M. (So, if it's for women only, they might write so, as they did back then.) BB eyes hoodie in M Sweet Carolina tee - that's how most of the Blue Banisters tees were like: not dishwasher safe mug - if you look closely, you will see how the prints comes off already before washing: Thank you so much for this very detailed informaton! Will compare this to the other hoodies I got soon. Edit: I just compared it, that's pretty interesting. Looks like the new hoodie is less wide, but much longer than the BB eyes hoodie. -

Thank you so much for the detailed information. I'm so seduced to buy it, especially as I have seen that if I let a shop print a photo on a box for me, it will cost about the same, lol (80 for hoodie and CD, 60 for the box). So the only alternate option would be to somehow wrap a box myself with a photo. Would you mind taking measure of the hoodie (especially how much it is from left to right when lying flat, for comparison) and sharing the size with us? Her LDR village hoodie in M was fine for me, but somehow I think this one could be bigger so I might need a S one. PS: You should not buy any more CDs now, just cassettes, lol. Fits perfectly. -

Having in mind how much they care to rerelease highly wanted iconic items, I also have hopes for a new heart shaped vinyl, whatever they might put on it. And for the coke necklace anyway, as she kind of confirmed it with her insta comment. Regarding merch I have more trust in her plans than regarding releases and other creative projects ๐ -

Was this last year? They had technical problems for several months with their whole system including mails so I waited a really long time for a refund, but in the end I got it. I was very angry on their service then but the final result was OK, so I'd still classify them as reliable. -

They always need several days. They are (sometimes terribly) slow but reliable. It sometimes helps to give them a time until then you expect a reaction. How much do they charge? In Germany they ask the usual 19% VAT they forward to the state plus a fee of 6 EUR. UPS takes a percentage of the value plus a lot more as a fee, I think twice as much. Last time I paid 38 EUR to UPS only, plus VAT additionally... -

To which country? Actually, when orders from abroad with custom fees etc arrive in Germany, DHL is still the cheapest. UPS wants a fortune here. I think so. I ordered only the B&W one, but I heard those came usually later. That hoodie box looks lovely. They should have done it a bit bigger than 12" though. Damn, now I should buy it, lol. -
