obviously you can ignore my thoughts on this matter if you want but as someone who was in a similar situation for lolla last year and feels the same about humidity/crowds it's simply not worth the stress i'm afraid 😭 i completelyyyy understand wanting to be up front but you will still have a wonderful time anywhere <3 i've decided to save the camping & waiting for her own shows...it's just not doable for me personally at festivals.

i think this issue is because of a disconnect between her and the label. when i met her in 2022 she said she was hoping to have the first single out by then end of the year and then the album out beginning of 2023. that's still pretty early to be playing i love hollywood back in june 2022 or whenever it was but not quite as bad, especially for the songs that were played at the tove shows. plus there was that one time she played tommy last year and said her label wasn't letting her release it...idk. it just doesn't seem like they're on the same page at all (plus the no comma lyrics are rather telling) and it's causing weird release schedules bc cathy just plays them anyways (which i don't blame her for i understand the frustration).

i'm fine with the cover i see the vision...the summer release date on the other hand

if you go to the contact link it seems to be a new company, i think they are shipping. makes sense since there's an entire second batch of alt cover vinyl that are probably just sitting around somewhere, it's not like it was just a few remaining orders. and yeah idk, it would have been nice to get some clarification about what was happening...i never even got the letter from scp in the mail lol.

has anyone been able to get in contact with her merch company? their email doesn't work anymore and i don't think the contact form on their site does either. usually i wouldn't put the responsibility for this kind of thing on the artist but scp certainly don't seem like they're going to say anything (in a timely manner at least) cathy save us

this is the part that gets me...like they have no issue praising people who have directly credited her as inspiration but refuse to acknowledge her herself. it's very frustrating.

ocean blvd should have won but that was very sweet of taylor...she always seems very genuine when talking about her imo.
