that's exactly how I interpreted that. She's like a replicant that is breaking free from her programming to explore love and the world. )

I mean, Lust for Life is kind of spacey, or at least scifi. Inadvertently. She's sort of in an alternate, technological universe, almost as if in the beginning she's a mere automaton in the Hollywood machine that ran away into the arms of Abel to enter a world where she could be herself and see the world in more clarity and humanity. But maybe i'm seeing things in a Blade Runner perspective, don't mind me
-
let's talk about how spaceist lana is for completely dropping the space theme for the record i'm still upset about this lana my hopes were so high
-
why are you guys letting a racist person ruin good lana del rey discussion pls lets talk about lust for life
-
I hate Lana Del Rey for that cover not being real I'm going to replace the actual cover with that in my library

Okay, real talk, deviating from the drama here but do you guys think Lana might be juust a bit of a nerd? Especially her love of SpaceX, wanting a Blade Runner themed song/album, taking the title of her second album from a famous science fiction-ish/cult novel, etc? Especially in this interview where she recommends the book "Forbidden Gates: How Genetics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Synthetic Biology, Nanotechnology, and Human Enhancement Herald The Dawn Of TechnoDimensional Spiritual Warfare by Tom and Nita Horn" because she wants people to understand that we're living in a world where living organisms are being created synthetically. Two possibilities here either Lana Del Rey is a nerd bitch or she's a literal transdimensional angelic robot space princess spreading the gospel
