Isn't In the Dark (You're the One) True Romance era since the final song is on TR............
-
By "release properly" she means drop, talk about online for a week, and then never speak of it again.
-
You know what.........

I’d love to see Charli do more songs in the style of Party 4 U/My Type/Moonlight. I love her rhythmic, auto-tuned songs. I’d love to see her work with some hip-hop producers
-
I wish she’d do a one-off track with Ariel
-
I’m going to get shit for this but Pop 2 was miles better than Charli which was good but not great. I think Charli has always done her best work when she pushes herself to explore something new (Vroom Vroom, Pop 2, even True Romance was a very ~different~ sound at the time). Charli felt very comfortable to me, it felt like she was just recycling the Pop 2 formula, and I’d like to see her switch up her sound.
-
Unpopular opinion but I’d rather her start collaborating with other producers rather than whatever soundcloud artist you guys are hyping atm. The whole PC/Umru/Dylan Brady sound is tried and the latter two were never that good in the first place
-
I get youre trying to make a point but theres no need to blatantly lie lmao

So I may be wrong but I believe we knew about that one from last.fm where someone scrobbled it. We never confirmed if it was real or not, but that was back before we knew the tracklist so Black Roses was new to us (it may have been a registered title though) so there like a 50/50 chance that was fake too.
-
I know the first one (5 track) leaked because of me. I contacted the guy on discogs and got him some album that wasnt available in his country and he sent it to me. He left the link up and people found it months later. He said he got it from a friend who worked at the label. He’s also how we got 14
-
I might be wrong but that looks fake/fanmade. Theres no label indication on it at all, which would usually be included with promo mailers sent out.
-
I dont believe there ever was a 6 track version
-
We never really bullied her hard enough for Set Me Free being written about Twilight..............
-
The way True Romance literally does not have a “worst” song. Aged like a fine wine. A timeless classic with not a single skip. The rest of her discography cant relate
-
she still used his “and any time you hit my phone when you say you need company” line. She added some of her own lyrics, but ultimately isnt credited on the song meaning PND’s reference track probably came first.
-
This How Can I slander......cut the cameras....deadass
-
It was PND & Major Lazer’s concept. So if Charli would have been on it, it would have probably been (feat. Charli XCX & Nicki Minaj). But I agree, a PND x Charli collab would be really cool.
-
Run Up is a Major Lazer demo that was eventually released with vocals from PartyNextDoor and Nicki Minaj, with PND singing the lines Charli is. The song was released in Jan 2017. Charli is not credited as a writer, however Stargate co-produced. PND wrote the song and they had Charli cut vocals in late 2016 most likely and ended up releasing PND’s vocals instead.

Did everyone try the Bricks? I thought the Bricks was lovely.

I cant stand the batch of new members who do this sh*t and don’t contribute anything else to the conversation.
-
The way I love absolutely everything about them and would die for them

Please point me to any career repercussions she’s had? Her new album is doing fine and plenty of people act like it ever happened. Cancel culture is not real and me ~personally~ holding her accountable saying I’d prefer Charli not work with her is not “cancelling” her. Holding someone accountable for something she should have known better for is not “cancelling” her. You all are free to continue supporting her, much like I’m free to avoid her. Please miss me with the “not everyone grew up with a woke education”, shes a college educated millennial and has undoubtedly come across the multitudes of discourse surrounding white people’s use of the n-word in her 33 years of living. She apologized, that was good enough for some people, it wasnt for me. She’s not cancelled and I’m not attacking anyone for listening to her, I’m saying I’d prefer Charli not work with her. Whether Charli does or not is up to her, not me. You people need to stop taking any critique or discussion of accountability as “cancelling”. End of discussion.

She sat there an typed out the n-word at the ripe age of 33 in the year 2018. That “I didn’t know I was just quoting a song” notes app apology after she got called out was weak, as she, a grown woman, should have known better in the first place.
