    i heard song when i was sleeping again. it was titled Butterfly Blue (ft. Kelela).
    song was midtempo kinda dreamy electronic r&b track with atmospheric drum and bass/louder breakbeat beat. Kelela was singing post-choruses and bridge with some background ad-libs in verses.


    it was great song but it’s creepy that i'm dreaming bout Lana so often:dance2:


    with some random reasons cover was just maroon background with blue butterfly lol

    I agree with most posted on here, so I’ll skip the obvious ones. May I also add:


    Grandfather :defeated:it is such a standout in her discography. I love the way the instrumental  (e.g. the dense electric guitars, the mellotron, the sax?) swells and swells into a crescendo by the end - really reminds me of a more condensed and pop version of the likes of Sigur Ros and GY!BE. I also find it to be the best use of a sample in her discography. 

     


    God Bless America is also wonderfully produced. Metro Boomin put everything he could put into that song and it SHOWS.

    same thing happened with HM’s swan song, NFR’s the greatest, cotcc’s DBJAG, and BB’s thunder, I feel like no one’s ever talking about them, even though they’re top 3

    is it really the lowest outside of the interludes?? I believe it’s one of her most genius songs to date :legend:

    I was listening to the old *leaks*/*Snippets* from that site during the pre-release era and...does anyone know what that *snippet* of that song that "my hands cause you pulled me through a pain I never knewwww ooohhh yeahhh ohhh ahhh ahhh yeahhh yeahhh push it all for you, push it all for you, push it all for you..."??? I remember thinking it was Kintsugi?? Can I post it on here since we know it's not on the album?? Where did that snippet come from?? Was it AI?? It sounds like Lana just listening to it? lol it sounds heavenly
