Charli didn’t write Rare, and it’s not Emily Warren singing the demo. It was written by Leland, Madison Love, and Nolan Joseph, which leads me to believe that Madison Love is singing the demo, although I don’t know for sure. (https://twitter.com/lelandofficial/status/1032727179128451074) Charli *supposedly* recorded it in 2017 when she was being forced to record pitched songs such as Boys and Our Boyfriend.

@BloomForYou I know neither of these were ever necessarily on the tracklists or whatever, but would Million more or less be considered a Pop 2 outtake, and Liquor a Charli outtake, in terms of the sessions they were made in?

I know it’s super minimal, but I thought Sophie added the little squeaks in the second verse of Die 4? Also I don’t think the leak of Pop The Balloons is necessarily LQ, but I always thought it sounded kinda weird... would really appreciate the original file! And for what’s it’s worth, we technically have two entire BIOYL demos in LQ and MQ. I loved the very first demo we got in Discord quality sooooo much.

Is anyone else having an issue where SoundCloud to MP3 sites are only giving 30 seconds of a song? .. and my follow up question: does anyone have DL links to Billionaire Bully and Taste’s State? Because I can’t download them myself!

I'm sure there's tons of Sucker outtakes tbh. But for starters, I think there were one or two more titles on the early tracklists we got (incl. the scrapped punk EP).. I can remember there was one called 'Lightning Bolts' but I'm not sure if that was it.

She registered 4 new songs with Ronni Vindahl (‘No Mythologies’ producer): ‘Hurt U’, ‘One’, ‘Trumbling Down’ and ‘Wonderland’. I hadn’t noticed it before, but she also registered a song with him a little while ago called ‘Preacher’, around the time she registered a song called ‘Running Wild’ (made with someone else).

Oh yeah, she confirmed she’s releasing it! But I really want to know who’s singing the demo because I adore it. Since we’re talking about it, Charli’s version of Rare lol!

It was written by Madison Love, Leland and Nolan Joseph so I feel like Madison Love is the safest bet, since I can’t imagine the leakers would have a demo recorded by anyone else besides Charli and a writer’s demo (though that’s not a guarantee I guess). I think Madison Love has a few features out there but like I said, there’s very few examples of her voice. Not to mention, there’s a whole weird other situation where it seemed like Madison Beer (not Love) had the song at one point. The day Selena announced Rare was a song on her new album, Madison Beer tweeted lyrics to the song... and her name is also on the writing credits... but Leland said her credit was wrong and it was only written by him, Nolan and Madison Love? Lmao, very odd situation. Sorry if it seems like I’m ranting but I only care because I love that song so much and I wish I knew who was singing it. I wish Charli released it, she sounds so great on it.

By the way, I asked Emily Warren about the Rare demo myself. https://imgur.com/a/geYtpBS Not really sure why someone would lie and say she confirmed she was singing it.

@@BloomForYou this is a very random question but was there ever any truth to Charli recording Kim’s Heart To Break? I know it’s 99% unlikely but I first remember people teasing the song’s lyrics in this thread before HTB was out, and then there were even people talking about hearing a snippet.. Also, do you know who’s really singing the Rare demo? I would really love to know. It can’t be Emily Warren.

Well I asked her on Twitter and she said it wasn’t her. Listen to her album ‘Quiet Your Mind’, it doesn’t sound anything like her. And while it’s not impossible, it’s pretty unlikely that Emily Warren would be recording a song she didn’t write when, she too, is primarily a songwriter.

Just to clear this up... I know Diplo (the user here) once said it was Emily singing the demo, so I’m not suggesting they lied, but they were definitely misinformed because it’s not Emily (she released an album and it’s not the same voice at all). Not to mention that the song was registered around the time Selena mentioned the track, and it was written by Madison Love, Leland, and Nolan Joseph, so it might be Madison Love singing it but there aren’t many examples of her voice out there because she’s primarily a songwriter.

This may have already been discussed.. but I found some new registrations. - Hunter and the Prey (written with Bobby of K.I.D) - Shadow - Crying’s All I Can Do She also registered a song called ‘Shades’ a little while after Super Sunset and I also noticed there’s something called ‘Bad In LA Remix’, but we might already have that since I don’t keep up with remixes much.

Are there any earlier tracklist drafts you can share with us? Or literally just any other information? Sometimes I find this kinda info more exciting than leaked songs lol
