  1. the verses are so catchy... maybe it's because it's so folky + lullaby-like.... they should really do something about the drums to make it in-sync w/ the vocal
  2. can you believe they are touring in asia? when willl lana
  3. after reading all the words searching for a release date.... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ".Lust for Life is out soon" i love the way she addresses the issues these days, she's not the timid little girl lost in the woods anymore.
  4. she looks like charli xcx for one second in this EDIT: wtf told me that it was an outtake

  6. In that sense, Del Rey is championing the same values as her influential predecessors, few and far as they may be, or as bamboozled by the power systems in which they thrived. Consider “Beautiful People,” where she trades verses and coalesces on the chorus with the one and only Stevie Nicks, of whom I refer to as a bonafide badass. “I didn’t know what to except or that I could even ask her, Del Rey remarks. “When I went through ideas of women that could really add something to the record, she was the one we kept coming back to. ‘Bonafide badass’ is a great phrase for her. She’s really real. And she’s still fucking touring, which baffles me. There are so few women doing that. You’ve got Courtney Love, who works, sings, tours… there’s not that many women who were making music in the ’70s or ’80s who still make music. It really is pretty crazy.”
  7. SPIN wish they had this amazing in-depth interview with her.
  8. the 1-2-3 punch of her magazine covers this era... DAZED ---> ELLE UK ---> FLAUNT
  9. I DEMAND ALL YOU NAYSAYERS WHO EVER DOUBTED HER TO BOW DOWN AND PRAY TO JESUS DEL REY the fact that the photoshoots we've been getting this era are on par with / better than the BTD era (quality/diversity wise)
  10. I need a CPR right now. David Lachapelle and Steven Klein in one era?
  11. once i get used to the beats (aka i can choose to ignore them), COachella - woodstoCK IN MY MIND sounds so good there are some elements (flute, bass, some effects) that you will discover when you replay it enough to get used to the beats cause theyre really too soft to be overshadowed by the beats (but yeah, they're still not that polished enough to be on the album, no matter how many times i play. it sounds like a great demo in HQ tho)
  12. COachella - woodstoCK IN MY MIND "watching your husband swing in time / swing and shine" coincidence? i think not
