American. It will always be American. Just something about that specific song just tugs at my heartstrings the most. I love it so much. i always update songs on my phone but I have never deleted American. It's been on there for a verrrrrrrry long time and will probably stay that way lmao

Both Art Deco letters (white and red ones) are from the net. I searched for neon letters and used the .jpg pictures of the neon alphabet and numbers on black background, as free stock art, and I selected and pasted to my covers each letter that I needed separately. Perhaps they originally are some fonts, but I don't know exactly which ones. Actually, the red ones look like letters someone physically curved (like Tracey Emin does for her message oeuvres).

Still ridin that Honeymoon high, I feel bad that most of you ain't feeling it no more

AND, I would like to add that she's literally the third best selling WW, it's not like she's No. 17. And she's No. 2 in most countries. That means general sales are horrible. Yeah, her album sales have dropped terribly, but the ~sales climate~ is still super bad.

I feel like every single pop album released since 2011 is claimed to have the biggest sales drop since 143 b.c. or whatever

Don't worry y'all. In my honest opinion, I thought she was going to sell 80k in the US and 150k WW. Those numbers, yeah they're horrible compared to BTD and UV, but it's still nice. Two-hundred thousand people bought an album with 0 hits, 0 promo, 0 TV performances and a bad, irrelevant radio session. I think it's fine. It's still a flop, her first real flop, but it's not like she sold 3 copies.

It feels like a mix of her mid-range budget videos and her self-produced music videos, especially the flamingos scene. I really like it

Longevity for someone of her calibre. Most artists nowadays are made to last 3 albums and then fade. Lana's proved with 4 top 10 releases in the US and 3 top 3 albums that she's got more longevity than most artists nowadays.

These numbers are amazing. People are saying that Lana's becoming a 'niche artist' and that she's 'failing' but - for an act like Lana - her commercial longevity is astounding. There's no other artist that's properly like Lana so that helps but most artists are lucky to get to album 3 and still be getting top 10 debuts, even with massive amounts of promotion. Take, for example, E-MO-TION: it's an album that no-one expected to be good because Carly is the Call Me Maybe-girl but blew everyone away. It was promoted really well but it got nowhere and that's because most artists nowadays don't have longevity. Lana's been extremely lucky to sell the numbers she has in today's music climate and to have achieved the longevity that she has so far. It might be a little early to tell with Honeymoon but we've got to appreciate that Lana is doing well for an artist like herself.
