can she just wake up, drop the music video, and release the album? i mean, call it a day sis. it's officially over! she just needs to call the cleanup crew. (not trying to sound negative, but it's the truth and we all know it. once someone gets ahold of the physical album, its leaked)

they should have just stuck to their original single release plan. i know it wouldn't have prevented this, but it would have at least made one less leak and maybe the fans wouldn't be so desperate to have the full album.

i think it also helps that she is FINALLY expanding her friends list. i love rick nowles, emile haynie, and all of her other close friend producers, but i hope this is a wake up call to her and how working with different artist can bring out the best of her. it's nice to see her stepping out of that comfort zone that she's so used to being in!

my favorite thing about NFR is how vulnerable she's making herself. along with her writing and vocals! i love how personal every track feels, and nobody can pass her over as "keeping with the trends" (which was LFL's biggest fault) because she's made another original sound for herself which will definitely influence the charts like it has before (BTD/UV). although, i know she won't chart that high, i feel like people will go back to this root of music for future reference and we'll finally leave the trap phase we've been going through.

i mean, i'm not pressed we didn't get it. it was just another iPhone music video with her running around lip syncing the song with the backup dancers in forever 21 clothing, and they happened to conveniently run into Butterflies while filming it, and called it a day.

still waiting for its release. this albums aesthetic and style of production would have fit it soooo well! especially since Yosemite & TNBAR are ying & yang! she did Yosemite sooooo dirty. were is Lust For Yosemite when you need ha!

i guess, but also, realistically, this single has a music video that required a budget. it's VERY different from Coachella and Looking For America (which literally had a shutterstock image as the single cover) they've got to have people locked and loaded to stream and have their coin ready to buy.

she had to fill Yosemite's gap somehow! i'm not saying it was a good choice, but it had to be done

but these were both promo/buzz singles (until Coachella got added to the final tracklist of LFL) and i don't think they ever intended to have planned releases.

yessss, i can't ever recall her caring/doing early releases in other countries for songs. from what i remember through the eras, she's only ever released them first in Cali time because she doesn't stick to the charting formula that other artist do. the only songs she's ever released early in other countries are the ones that she does radio releases for with BBC. remember when she dropped High By The Beach out of nowhere on a Wednesday?!
