Best: Sad Girl, Old Money, The Other Woman
Worst: Money Power Glory, Fucked My Way Up to the Top (these songs are not bad at all, but it doesn't go well with the rest of the album, and all the other songs are top notch)

Who is responsible for the typo (Nighshade), wrong lyric (filled with passion, I can play most anything, they got a sayin') - especially on the big lithograph, and British spelling (I'm your favourite girl) of the text on the booklet? Like seriously you had one job!
My best guess is Mat Maitland is that him?
Also I just got the boxset now, thought I can treat myself to that
It is very lovely, especially the picture vinyl and the gatefold LP. I don't like the CD packaging either it's just awkward, would have been better if they made it gatefold - CD on one side booklet on the other side?

I feel the same way. I was kind of surprised when I saw how many people didn't care for Paradise. Sometimes when listening, I think te production sounds "off" in some places, but I think Paradise is a strong example of how she approaches albums conceptually as a full body of work; not just a collection of songs. That's her strong suit, I think. And I trust that the album will be its own different and interesting entity, regardless of the fact that she somewhat equated it to BtD and Paradise.
It was all promotion strategy honey - Paradise deserved to be on its own.
-
If she does ever comes to EU or the UK when will this usually be? And how long before will the show announced/ticket started selling?
-
I feel the same way with many people here about UV/Paradise but instead of Paradise it's BTD for me
To me Paradise is still brilliant in every way - perhaps it's a better version of BTD?
Either way Honeymoon will be divine, if it's more like BTD/P it will be as good as Paradise,
if she goes into different types of music it will create a similar experience that we had with UV in the first place

It's not even that I said Katy Perry does better videos or that I dislike Ride.
I just think the video is highly overrated. Just because there is a monologue and it's high budget doesn't make it art. Like it or don't like it but I hate those people who feel the need to pose as art-experts and sophisticated. In the end, the Ride video is full of clichees combined with a pretentious monologue which may be personal but is much rather cheesy than "art"
As you can see people have *politely* dislike your opinion, for a second time, so it's something.

Do you think the merch will ever go on sale online...
Look out on eBay people might start selling them

Which tour book? Or are you talking about the lyric book?
I was talking about the lyric book
Maybe the merch team was being like 'we need photos to make the lyric book remotely interesting - not for UV though cos we already have it from the album booklet'
-
^Yeah, I don't think Lana was involved at all with the lyric book (or any other merch for that matter). It's a shame that we can't get a lyric book with correct and complete lyrics for her released work.
She probably have picked the images for the tour book though. I don't think the merch team could have thought of those photos.

Lana is a visual artist, not just a musical one. Her homemade music videos show that she has (or had) a visual aesthetic goal in mind when making music. She's always said she's been really guided by visual aesthetics and "beautiful things," so that's important for her.
With that in mind, I don't understand why so many fans act like they're better and truer fans if they're "only here for the music." A lot of people like the visual work Lana created - and, may I point out, unlike most of her music, she made her homemade music videos by herself. If you're only here for Lana the Musician, that's great, but there's no need to act like Lana the Visual Artist is unimportant or simple "promo."
Also the video clips that she used for Endless tour is brilliant - especially the Off to the Races one
I actually think that her homemade video is so much better than any of the big budget video, a prime example would be Blue Jeans
-
I truly wish Do Right will be on Honeymoon, or at least released a studio version - her cover is so much better than Peggy's version
-
I think that she looked so sad in the first show of the endless summer tour..
I actually thought she looked happy and energetic, especially when she sang those unreleased songs for the first time.
And she looked chubbier as well - which I think it's healthy considering she sings about drugs all the time
-
-
If it is the case hopefully she will release the studio version of those unreleased song on an EP or something
-
Otherwise why would Lana perform it on the stage? For the sake of fan and embracing unreleased tracks? 1 song like Chelsea Hotel is enough and understandable but 3 songs this time?
-
-
Do Right performance was very short because of the song itself. Remember Blue Velvet that was only 2:30 mins?
I Really hope Do Right will be on Honeymoon. Her cover was sooooooo good.
Also if Serial Killer, You Can be the Boss and Us Against the World is on Honeymoon, I wouldn't mind how pop HM will be anymore - very lovely songs.
(I didn't listen to any of the leaked song until now)
I wished she performed several more songs from UV though, like Sad Girl, The Other Woman or Pretty When You Cry
-
Inb4 she doesn't care about all of these being leaked unreleased tracks and put all of them on Honeymoon
-
-
I'm only here for the music so if Ultraviolence was her last album ever I wouldn't even be bothered.

Artists recycle their unreleased work all the time, why all the complaints on originality of Lana's soundtrack? An album's sound is highly determined by the production work as well, so if a demo is not produced how the hell do we even know if it is for a particular era?

Lorde's opinion is shit cos it's a half-ass comment based on listening to Lana's music once and not actually know what she is singing about.
