I definitely see a lot more potential with this album & I can’t wait to see what they do next - that being said, I feel like most of the “move on already” attitudes probably stem from how lazy the moonlight edition seemed. Especially since we were expecting a full fledged Side-B, and all we got was a rerelease with a few mediocre deluxe tracks and an even more mediocre cover.

Now those are remixes I could’ve gotten behind.. imagine the SERVESSS and I’m sure we would’ve gotten New Verses from them too

ok bit of a random theory but I was rewatching the blue bannisters snippet and I know some people were speculating it was filmed for something else since she isn’t lip syncing the song at all and I’m getting major wild at heart vibes. I feel like the imagery matches that song perfectly, especially with her and clay being all cute - also the J reminded me of the line “you’re killing me joe” + the idea of wild at heart being a single choice/mv contender would make sense given all the merch for that song

Exactly - we all know jack is capable of amazing production (taylor, lorde, st vincent, etc etc), Idk why everyone blames her producers for blandness, maybe we just need to accept that she’s the one who’s become more bland thru the years in terms of what she wants in production..

I mean, at least in the US there was definitely a period in 2012/13 where I heard htbah and primadonna on the radio constantly (although i didn’t know who tf she was at the time) I was definitely shocked that they didn’t send anything from froot to pop radio, especially seeing froot was her highest charting album on the billboard 200 - froot/im a ruin/blue could’ve done pretty well.

because although DL1 is great, there’s nothing too special about it - it’s just a random collection of cool, basic pop songs - and frankly I would love another amazingly executed era/aesthetic rather than an h&m playlist
