Well… that makes sense for Madison beer and her one album I guess but anyways usually concerts are like 90-120 minutes so I thought it might be somewhere around there (especially given it’s prerecorded, so she could take breaks and stuff)

Sorta hoped it would be a little longer, and was hoping for a few more songs from older albums, but I’m v glad we’re getting a performance of (almost) every song from the album (rip flowers)

Agreed. I love jack and his work, but damn near everyone i listen to is working with him and is working with similar sounding production and i just need a lil break from the man

I really am amazed with how good this album is, I was trying to rank it earlier and besides having ptp and pandora’s box at the bottom (oopsies, they’re good, just my least favs!) I just couldn’t do it because every track is so incredible I’m so glad she made such a great comeback from love+fear, miss marina knew exactly what she had to do ilybilmm is probably my favorite, i was expecting a ballad from the title, but wow

solar power might not be the best single choice but i will admit it has more replay value (for me) than the three lanz singles we got

Anyways I really don’t understand what’s so confusing about Olivia’s rise to fame lol. Most disney stars aren’t super original or creative or groundbreaking either. She’s a disney star with a pretty good voice and has some cute songs, and it’s been awhile since there’s been a good disney act like her - and ya know, disney has a massive audience, she’s obviously gonna have a lot of success. There’s a lot of kids/tweens/millennials in the world that love basic pop music, and that’s okay! I really don’t see what the big deal is lmao

I get clairo being an industry plant and *maybe* olivia (although ehh because she’s just a disney pop star, a la miley/demi/etc & never claimed to be home-grown or anything ), but how are billie and halsey industry plants both of their rise’s were pretty organic, took a few years for both of them to take off, they got a big song and blew up (alt tumblr kids helped a lot with that) . Also both of their origins weren’t like, majorly constructed by a label or anything

Also, that character is a charlie’s angels reference. although near the end of the electra era marina had black hair - electra is mostly characterized as blonde & vintage esque, so either way, i don’t think any of them are *meant* to be electra, it’s just a similarity fans pointed out

I think it’s just because when she posted the teaser vid yesterday everyone was replying to it like “omg electra!!” (just like everyone did when she posted a picture of the wig on her story a few months back) so she was just acknowledging it. The wig is definitely super different but it’s def a little similar
