venicebitch Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 She’s going back to her Ultraviolence glow but this time proving she doesn’t need a toxic relationship in her life to make an excellent music. Ugh her mind 21
venicebitch Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I though Honeymoon sold 500k? It’s from August 2017. LFL is probably over 900k by now 3
Nick Del Rey Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I just know shes gonna have Florida kilos serves on this album... there will be no words 9
Nick Del Rey Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Norman Rockwell painted this cover art, how cool would it be if she could find somebody trained to paint in his style to do something like this 12
softcore babyface Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Norman Rockwell painted this cover art, how cool would it be if she could find somebody trained to paint in his style to do something like this I hope we get a painted cover tbh 12
99centlips Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I can’t believe she’s giving us UV 2.0 and with Jack Antonoff of all people. 12
Thunder Revenant Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Not really sure how to feel about it. I like the direction she's taking for the album, I like that it seems to be a more artistic project again and I like that it will seemingly have a distinct sound. But VB ... not really into it. I don't like the vocal melody at all and although I'm usually here for something more experimental, the track feels like it just randomly dragging on with a few things thrown in randomly. However, I'm still thrilled about what the album will sound like. I'm sure it will be another record with a cohesive listening experience. And I really liked MAC 2 Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!
annedauphine Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Im so keen for her to dive into these themes. Shes back into the relationship inspiration, yet she hasnt lost her newfound power and stance. Shes the bigger person now, and her maturity is just, contagious. I feel like im growing by just listening to MAC and VB Ugh I feel that... I'm aware this is gonna sound very melodramatique-wigs-snatched-crops-watered-acne-cured but something in the vibe of the songs makes me want to become better. A better person. Cut all the toxic stuff in my life and take advantage of every moment because everything's fleeting and soon enough you'll become nostalgic of your happiest memories and you'll end up crying on Venice Bitch at three am. So you gotta live every moment fully and thrive to be a better person. I decided to quit smoking today and for the first time in over a year I actually feel I can keep on this time. Talk about Lana Del Rey having a bad influence on the youth 13

And I really liked MAC That’s exactly how I felt about it at first.. but now I’m bopping to it I love how it makes you feel like you’re entering another dimension or floating in space. I have a plane in a few hours and I’ll probably listen to Venice Bitch for the whole time 5 I pretend I’m not hurt and go about the world like I’m having fun

renaissance Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I never thought anything would be able to top Ultraviolence but if any project stands a chance this may be it ladies. Both singles are so fucking amazing, I'm so so so glad we finally got a really long song from Lana 9
annedauphine Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Under the VB comments on YT user heeylinda said: "Irrelevant, but Mariners Apartment Complex's video is 4:19 minutes long, and Venice Bitch is 9:41. Magic, Queen." and I think about that a lot 8
Psychedelic Pussy Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 wow, pretty sure VB is going to hit 1,000,000 on youtube in its first 24 hours which is just incredible. Ten minutes of actual euphoria. I was soooo afraid after LFL that we were going to end up with some shitty half-assed follow up with Rick, my god, I'm so grateful- This is the complete opposite. I love her so much 5
Kurac na Biciklu Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 well MAC hit 1 million in 24 hours too 2
graham4anything Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 If one reads comments on articles about it, love the trump bots that pop up with the exact same words just different names, all written most likely by the same bot all filled with hating wanting to go back to a horrible time for 80-90% of todays demographics. but Heyyyyyy the Fonz finally won an Emmy last night Greatest job of acting was Henry Winkler (who is 100%Jewish) playing the Fonz in the first place, yet never winning an Emmy back then, now finally winning one. Fuck Norman Rockwell and his American Lie. 1 Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp
Kurac na Biciklu Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 anyway... for now I do prefer MAC way more it is not that I do not like VB but maybe I just need more time and right moment it took me 11 months to click with Heroin Yesterday started off really cool. I hit the gym at 9... was excited for new Lana... then super cute guy started to talk with me on grindr (which I opened 2 days ago) and the day was promising... but we did not see and I am kinda disappointed and sad and that is actually the mood which may make me appreciate VB more as I already have some lyrics of mine in my head... 1
annedauphine Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 This makes me so emo. NYC to LA, girl to woman, legend to goddess 21
