judging by the immediate backlash she got from stan twitter, you can just tell that those people were sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for the slightest of mishaps from her so they could use every single aspect of her life against her. you don't go on a witch hunt calling people fat, ugly, untalented, etc for making a political statement that's not aligned with your beliefs (and hers wasn't even that radical). it's projecting at its finest and they suck at hiding it. 

 

it's pretty sad that people have to relish in somebody else's mistakes just to feel morally superior & accepted by other people, especially since a lot of it wasn't even constructive, majority of it was people saying really nasty things about her body & appearence, & it's funny because, like you said, it's not like she's a horrible person who's done/said terrible things, like, okay, she wore a headdress in a music video & said that feminism wasn't interesting... in 2012 & 2014... meanwhile there's dozens of other celebrities (who are more mainstream & liked by stan culture) who are way more problematic, & it hardly gets any attention, people are so selective with their outrage & it really shows how a lot of people are just dumb, i could just say that we should ignore these people because they'll never really get it, but i think we have the right to be upset at the fact that people are so vicious towards her for no real reason

I don’t know how I feel about Rob’s IG post… I liked SC musically, but didn’t connect that much with the lyrics (what can I say: motherhood never was my reality ). I’m not at all against piano songs… and I love what she did with Drew for the last album, especially if they channel BBS energy. But… if the vibe of LDR9 is yet again singer -songwriter, then I hope we get to hear all the collabs she did recently and they better sound very differently from BB and COCC. We need bigger production Lana.

I don’t know if honeymoun is confirming that she is working with Erickson again here, but I agree with this take. Hopefully she brings in a couple new producers as well.

 I agree on what you've said , I think that it feels a bit like there's no different approach to the production with her latest producers

 

*edit : not saying that it is the producer's fault only, she is the one who  (i guess) instructs them about the direction

Cotcc I really did not care for at all, even the songs I liked I don’t go back to

Same with BB, which actually had a few more amazing songs but even those I don’t go back to.

To blame producers in 2022 is kinda no sense... everyone knows that Lana is on the control and they just press bottom to do whatever she wants...
