Tbh "buy her tonight" makes more sense than "audiotune lies" in the context of the song

By "go out like you" she's referring to the way her uncle Dave passed (suicide)

I know I am like a year and a half late but her uncle passed in 2016 and the song definitely sounds like she's talking about what happened long before that.

 

This might be an invasion to her privacy and it's such a sensitive topic to talk about so let me put this in spoilers.

It doesn't really make sense unless she is just "guessing" that the suicidal thoughts/attempt she had as a teenager might have been similar to the ones that her uncle had years after her attempt? I always thought the timeline was weird if she was indeed talking about her late uncle during her teenage years. Unless she saw the future.. I am still not so sure if she was talking about him to this day.
