Instead, Lana delivered a new American iconic image—perfectly capturing that era (late 2010's) with the neon green "insta baddie" windbreaker, the LA fires in the background, and her invitation to view the world through her unique lens. I can’t wait to see how she transforms the gothic or country aesthetic into something unmistakably Lana Del Rey. The majority of her album covers are instantly recognizable and have their own place in pop culture forever. Hoping, praying, wishing for another iconic album cover like BTD, LFL, NFR Well LA is in flames again…. I’m hoping for another iconic cover. But now I really don’t think she’ll announce anything this month with the fires that are going on and the presidential inauguration on the 20th.

I get where you're coming from, and I don't think an announcement is coming for at least another month or two, but the decision to announce anything (single, album, whatever) lies with her label and not with her. plus, it's hard to find a time (especially in today's world) where there isn't some sort of suffering. 6 Quote "Don’t forget me"

She would probably have to evacuate or she may be at risk of evacuating. Lana has mentioned many times in her music and poetry how awful the fires were in the past. As someone who has experienced multiple fires including being under mandatory evacuation, it's very traumatic. Focusing on her own safety and family/friends wellbeing is more important than releasing music lol. Even if she doesn't live in LA as much as she used to, we know how much LA means to her. Seeing a place you love being destroyed is heartbreaking especially considering this is the worst fire LA has ever had. On top of that, going through fires multiple times is very trauma inducing it's like reliving a nightmare. Your mind goes to fight flight or freeze. Posting about her music is most likely the last thing on her mind. As much as I would love to hear about the new album or singles, she needs to focus on herself. I hope she is safe and all is well with her, those in her life, and everyone in LA <3 12 Quote ♡︎

I doubt she cleared that homemade TRPWS album announcement or Rock Candy Sweet announcement or Chemtrails announcement embedded in QFTC with her label. She can post whatever she wants whenever she wants…unfortunately for us. If it actually comes to fruition is another thing entirely.

Regardless, it is so unsettling and sad to watch all of this and be so close to it. I don't think we were going to get any news about the album this week to begin with, but I agree that it definitely won't be happening now.

It’s deff still a scary situation even if you’re not evacuating. Seeing your community and surrounding areas go through a disaster like that is still heartbreaking. hope you guys wont be in danger and the fire starts to calm down ❤️ 7 Quote ♡︎

Horrible situation, which I hope gets resolved soon. I read somewhere that the Mayor of LA cut the fire department's budget (by about 17+ million?), which... is shocking, given how many fires LA had. She (the mayor) prioritized funds to mitigate the homelessness situation instead, but also that money largely went unspent? Our governments are seriously f-ed up.

Hanna 2,963 Posted 5 hours ago to me at least it feels like something is coming soon because album cycles ramping up always seems to coincide with like... large sweeping collective emotional shifts that everyone seems to be on the same page about. all the people close to me are really suddenly just absolutely going through it and everywhere you look it feels like things have taken a very abrupt and dark turn! hate it actually!!!!! a cry for help and a vibes-based analysis in the absence of actual news
