I'm not sure how Duffinators are living on Lana boards, and considering I'm a huge fan of hers, I feel obligated to create this thread.
Hilary has been hard at work on her new album for nearly two years. Last year the we saw the release of two singles "Chasing the Sun" and "All About You" under RCA records. As you know, Hilary experimented with a pop/folk sound with these songs which didn't live up to peoples expecations, but she's been busy in the studio cooking up a new sound with a new single expected to drop soon. Over 50 songs have been recorded for this album and not even half of those songs have beenregistered.

Dignity is a pop masterpiece.

 

The new album should be out in the summer. I'll be fumming if it's not, ha!

dignity is a v good album but clearly she doesn't have artistic direction or a big enough following (nowadays at least) to put out a solid record. but if its good, its good. chasing the sun is...zzzx

No stress, she's ditched the pop/folk sound and is returning to more pop/dance influenced music. I can't wait!

No I'm pumped!! And sammmmmmme with the ATRL stalking. I'm really hoping it'll be good. I don't have any full Hilary albums though, thinking about getting Dignity though.

I listened to the album. I love Sparks (obviously who doesn't?) and then My Kind, and Breathe In. Breathe Out., along with Lies are really good too. Overall I like the album, (the first half more than the last half) and think it's a solid album.
