PrettyBaby 2,220 Posted September 29, 2015 Sometimes a novel is so good, I picture the film in my head. And every great film needs a great soundtrack So now I make playlists for books. Feel free to post yours here! "So Yesterday" by Scott Westerfeld explores the blurred lines between art and commerce as its heroes, a "cool hunter" and an "innovator," roam NYC searching for a kidnapped marketing executive ...and the holy grail of athletic shoes.

PrettyBaby 2,220 Posted October 1, 2015 Apparently I'm not the first to be inspired by Scott Westerfeld novels to create a fanmix! http://ripplesinwater.livejournal.com/16228.html
PrettyBaby 2,220 Posted August 29, 2016 I've been devouring Richelle Mead books this summer. So what do I have to show for it? Shiny new playlists, of course! I love getting to relive my favorite stories through the "soundtracks" I make for them. The "Vampire Academy" series has so many great characters, and evolves over six books from high school dramedy to explore deeper themes of friendship and redemption. Rose Hathaway and Lissa Dragomir are two very different people, but they bring out the best in each other as they try to impact their world for the good.
