I'm shocked because I really thought this would be black and white fuzzy witch stuff but this says the opposite. BTD 2.0 for real guys. I love it though.

Just to transfer my thoughts from the general LFL thread to this one - 

I can't believe the old LDR logo has returned. She looks so beautiful. She has the most lovely smile, so I'm so happy to finally see it featured on an album cover (since it's never been on one before for any album/EP/single cover)

As I stated a little bit ago, It definitely seems like this is a development of Born to Die. As if she were releasing BTD at this point in her life instead of 2012. It seems to be similar in aesthetic so far. Especially with her being centered in the picture in front of a car.. except this time instead of her somber frown, she has a grand smile. This is a gorgeous transformation.

Hm I'm not quite sure what to think of it. I like the colors but the smile seems a bit too much for me. I prefer Lana's darker, moodier side. I just hope the album won't be just positive vibes...

It looks almost a bit fanmade but I really like it. The BtD esque pose and car and the old LDR logo are great and I love her smile! Less iconic but extremely heartwarming! The only thing I dislike is the way the font is placed on the cover

the colour tone is too earthy. (the sky isnt even blue lol)

she looks like a wax figure at the 1st sight

I like it! Looks like a country album from the 60s (please god don't let this be a Joanne phase) but it's cute

I hate the border. It's stylistically unappealing and takes away from the actual image itself. Rule of thirds and zooming out would improve this cover so much.

 

Like I get what they were going for but it was executed better here:

 

 

Just my two cents.

 

 

Edit:Upon further reflection, I'll say the cover has a charm to it and the btd references are heart warming still she could do better

Okay I posted this in another thread but I'll put it here:

 

Okay I saw the album cover and I am FUCKING SHOOK BEYOND BELIEF. I LOVE IT. OMG. LANA. BBY. I LOVE YOU.

 

Okay now that I've gotten my fangirling out of the way, here's what I like:

 

- Her smile. The golden smile. I'm crying.

- The daisies really bring out the aesthetic.

- The car! What is a Lana album cover without the iconic car?

- She looks so happy, and that makes me happy.

- The font. I have always liked that font. I'm glad she didn't use the god awful font used on the Love promo. Thank you Lana.

- The border gives it a vintage feel, plus it'll look magnificent on vinyl.

 

Lana, I love you so much for not giving us a crappy cover. I knew I could always trust you honey.
