Fontaines D.C. cover 'Say Yes To Heaven' in Radio 1's Live Lounge

The crossover of my dreams! Soon-to-be-legendary band Fontaines D.C. have covered Say Yes To Heaven for BBC Radio 1 in their Live Lounge  The band have spoken before about how much they admire Lana and would love to work with her.

 

Thoughts? Personally I love the grungy, shoegazey vibe of this cover, though I can imagine it's not to everybody's taste!

This song always had a bit of 80's flair to me and they cranked it up. I love

His Irish accent goes so well with the dreamy vibes of the song, also love the shoegazey instrumentals

as much as I like the singer, but the chorus doesn't work for me

I don't like the vocals but the instrumental is great- someone should put that on Lana's version

Roman Holiday would also be a nice choice but it might be too fast-paced for her
