this would definitely be my favourite too, especially if she really leaned into the tones of what that would mean in the music, and actually have the southern gothic vibes, would be a massive serve. coachella serves as such good visuals for this imaginary album

actually im thinking of that string/orchestra only version of AFFA, but with that country guitar instruments in the intro of Wait for Life, like Wait For Life for me is always that time when Lana almost stepped into country realm.

and yes, AFFA has that "country" soul in it, imagine her singing "is the sun in your eyes, easy rider" with a twang?

Country/Funk have often intersected. Light in the Attic has three compilations which showcase different artists mixing the two genres in multiple ways.

I don't think this is the case for Henry, but I wouldn't doubt there's some of this stuff in TRPWS. It's particularly prevalent in Louisiana and in country-adjacent rock music, and we know Lana loves both.

Calling Henry funk is so funny. Maybe the rest of the album has funk influence, but the snippet was not giving funk  they must be using Lana’s version of genres. Henry psychedelic surf rock bluegrass pink Pilates princess grunge gothic country recession pop confirmed!!!
