And now Chappel Roan has bootleg pressings of unreleased songs on vinyl.

But Charli XCX with hundreds and hundreds of unreleased songs spanning many eras and so much material in 320k/lossless.....cannot get a single boot press of shit on vinyl?

 

Do these people running these fake ass pressing plants have no fucking taste?

Christ on a crutch we've got a solid chunk of XCX World in lossless is it really that hard to cut a tracklist and press some fake ass shit for us heathens?

RSD 2025 is tomorrow and i will (hopefully) finally have my hands on a N1A vinyl after wanting one for so many years. i'm a little disappointed the front cover isn't the official one but oh well.

i'm that dedicated to getting one, i'll be driving 40 minutes to the record store at 5am (they open at 8) to make sure i get one

Several posts on Reddit from folks' local record stores have a lot of them talking about how they only received partial shipments of their RSD orders and getting notices that N1A and other records got VERY little/low stock. There's indications that apparently the "full balance" of the records may ship/come in late or well after RSD.

Get there early and pray. I'm gonna call and confirm/check with my local stores on their hours tomorrow and try to get there early as well. I've got a boot of N1A but I'd like an "official" copy - I really like the packaging on this one.

yeah the bootleg vinyl industry is HUGE for Lana I keep coming across AKA vinyls lmaoo like I was in Paris at a random flea market and there was one I was like ???

I got to my store at like ~7:30. They opened at 8 and there were like 40ish people in front of me. I was nervous.

But everyone around me looked like severely undersocialized and socially maladjusted horse girls and I determined through my satellite ears they were there for Wicked, Laufey, and Gracie Abrams, so then I was significantly less nervous.

But then a group of painfully gen-z broccoli haired they/thems with a poorly toned bleach job walked out with copies of N1A in hand, and I got nervous again.

But then when I finally got in the door (they were only letting 10 people in at a time), there were 4 copies left.

Bag secured, theydies and gentlethems, bag secured.

The distribution of the N1A copies is wild to me. There were reddit posts from some stores confirming very, very low stock and essentially "IOU" notices from distributors? But then I have friends where one person's store got 4 copies, and someone else's got 16.

But somehow I got 1 of the last 3!
