so happy we finally got some sort of teaser  but I'm with some other people, the aesthetics don't really give "Lasso", I was thinking more of the Coachella weekend 2 vibes/chat room thing she did. still excited tho!!

the aesthetics are kinda confusing me, I guess that’s on me for ever expecting her to do a “traditional” country aesthetic since when has she ever done anything the traditional way but then again her second outfit at Coachella weekend 2 was kind of leaning into that soooo in the end I’m still confused… not in a bad way though, this modern swampy imagery is quite intriguing, I wonder how it will tie in with the vibes of the music since both snippets we had so far have had some lyrics that use traditional country tropes

It is giving very southern gothic vibes which is puzzling to me because the album is called Lasso so it should be western vibes but that is too logical for Lana

wait actually this just made me have a revelation because I remembered I had a short-lived obsession with southern gothic music like ten years ago and actually if Lana will go in that direction for this album we will be feastinggggggg
