But probably the label pressed her to make commercial songs like Roachella and Summer Bummer

 

My opinion is that the real direction of the album was something more like BAR, Something Real, Get Free, Change... Nothing trap leaded

Actually the trap influence was something she wanted. I think she said in the Zane Lowe interview that she was feeling some of the more fiery tracks like Cherry. Something along the lines of her getting out of the headspace she was in while writing BAR as she collabed with more people. Heroin was also written early on during the writing process.
