  1. Who cares if she was a Satanist?? I mean it'd obvi be bad for her reputation, but otherwise, boohoo whatever. People can believe in what they want.
  2. Hundred Dollar Bill

    Lorde

It'd kill the hype for so many fans and also potentially hurt the sales of the album, if she even decided to keep the same release date after the songs leaked. It just wouldn't be good..

uh no there are only going to be 8 new songs and you want leaks?? i'd like to not have a True Romance 2.0 on my hands seriously i am really excited as that's a grand album title but i just
  4. What does that have to do with my post though? I think she's okay.. I don't care for her over-glorified image or anything but I like some of her music.
  5. How can something be anticipated when it happens so often? I can't wait for all of you to seethe when Blackout 2.0 slaughters the charts. Britney is writing for it & her label is giving her full creative control so I know it'll be her best work yet. To those that think her music "isn't hers" or that she "couldn't write a single decent song on her own," you should check out Everytime, My Baby, Mannequin, Touch of My Hand, etc. as there are PLENTY of newer & older songs she wrote herself that were very good. If you decide not to see for yourself, that's fine. Stay pressed while Brit knocks your fave off the charts this winter.
  6. It's about time you came around.
  7. How can anyone dislike Dinosaur Sex! though??? Are you kidding me?? You used to give me shit for loving B!TCH ZO SXC, get out. But yeah, Photography & Dinosaur Sex are really great, the other two are good too.
  8. 1. Aural Vampire 2. Lana Del Rey 3. Charli XCX
  9. That's weird because it's the same vocal track.
  10. Daytona Meth is my favorite Lana song.
  11. I'd get her and I tickets to her favorite theme park!
  12. Well, that's fine too. I just don't see the point in making another thread at all. It's stupid, really.
  13. But no one is going to want to even bother looking at the OP of a thread that has a ton of pages.
  14. It makes no sense to lock this thread once the new one with its updated OP is made. That updated thread will eventually have lots of pages too and we'll face the same problem that we have with this one, I feel. Why not make the new thread for the sole purpose of all the info you guys have been putting together & keep this one for discussion? Just make the other one & lock it. It's more concise that way. Otherwise we'll have two discussion threads (though one will be locked) when we only need one. We can just rename this one or something. Then people can go to the Charli info thread if they need to know about leaked songs & stuff.
  15. I bought it the other night. It's available in the US & maybe other places?
  16. I actually just remembered that it's 2012 - that's the year it was listed under on Rick's site. I don't feel like it sounds like an outtake though.
  17. You can get the first one by signing up to her mailing list on her website. I'd send you the other but I'm on mobile. Did you google it?...
  18. • Glow - at 1:24, the way she says "in the box of doom," and while she says it, those eerie beautiful vocal effects go UH-UH. That vocal effect throughout the song is like ghosts to me, trying to sing with her. So mesmerizing. Also, at 1:29 when she says "you're across the sea," the ghost voices are like wavering in and out, that too. And then at 1:33 right before "you know, you gave me hope," the part where the ghosts stutter with the beat. Those are the specific moments, but overall the entire song in general is magnificent. • Smile - the choruses. There's no specific thing that makes them a best musical moment, it's the choruses as a whole. The way all of the instruments glide together to make a chorus that feels like I'm sailing and flying at the same time while listening to it is just grand. I don't know of many choruses that top these tbh. • Heartbreak High - this song's bridge is superior. I still can't really understand what she's saying, but the way she says it & the effects on her voice, and just the whole backing track around create the most sonically perfect 80s pop bridge I've ever heard, from a song made in 2013. It just makes me so happy, the way she "ooh"s. The little synths going on in the left speaker as she sings the bridge are also really great. • I'll Never Know - the piano notes that appear before & after the chorus and appear throughout the song, starting at 0:58 in the left speaker. They're so beautiful and I SWEAR on my life that she is paying homage to Final Fantasy X in using those notes. There's a town called Besaid in that game & its theme uses the same notes in the same melody. It's basically the same thing. So this song always reminds me of that game (which I love very much) and makes it so wonderful to me. • Stay Away - the entire bridge. The way the song breaks down and the buzzing synth gets so heavy kills me. It gives me goosebumps almost every time. The vocal delivery during the bridge is also really void and entrancing to me. She sounds empty and cold during that part. Also, the refrain of "stay away" after the second chorus is very unsettling in a good way & really sets the mood for the beautifully eerie bridge. It's a gorgeous song. • Black Roses - The intro, up to 0:13 before she starts singing. There's a high pitched screeching noise that accompanies the buzzing synths or w/e that REALLY put me into the atmosphere of the song. It comes back after the first chorus too, and with the vocal delivery of verse two, it makes for a really mystifying musical moment! • Lock You Up - The choruses are grand. I love the way the synths are high in the right speaker and low in the left. Together, along with her static-y vocals, it makes for a really atmospheric sound in the chorus that really takes me places. If I ever do acid I must remember to listen to this song during the trip tbh.
  19. X cus u it's got an absolute A+ creepy melody and her voice is perfect in it, sounds v atmospheric and beautiful I can't also I'm pretty sure it's not the full version How do you know it's full? She didn't sing the entire song as we saw in the video of the children's play you posted so unless she said the one we have is full we should assume otherwise. BESIDES who cares if it's full, I need it in HQ because it's literally one of her best songs okay.
  20. Haven't listened to it yet but I really wish it didn't leak. It's going to get really old really fast that people are so bothered about it. But honestly LOL if you seriously think Gaga is SOOOO much better than Lana and that Lana "has a long way to go" before she can shade her then why even be on this forum like seriously. I like Gaga & her music but the ridiculous amount of praise her fans give her disgusts me. People act like she's god. Also, Lana can make whatever kind of songs she wants, she doesn't have to like who you stan for and this song wasn't even supposed to be heard anyway so shut upppp oh my god. Honestly Lana > Gaga any day. The only thing Gaga has on her is sales.
  21. i wasn't trying to be rude, i legitimately have no idea where in this 170 page thread the list is
  22. yes.. somewhere, in the thread
